ADJUSTABLE PILE HOLDING SYSTEM, VESSEL AND PILE INSTALLATION METHOD
A pile holding system is to be mounted on a deck of a vessel, e.g. for installation of a pile adapted to support an offshore wind turbine. The pile holding system is configured to support the pile in an upright position at a pile installation location next to the vessel. A vessel is provided with such a pile holder system. A method for installation of a pile and a pile holder are also disclosed.
Pile-Driver Assembly and Method for Driving a Pile Into the Ground
A pile-driver assembly for driving a pile into the ground, preferably offshore, and a method of driving a pile into the ground using the pile-driver assembly is disclosed. The assembly includes a casing defining a chamber, the chamber being configured to house a fluid. The assembly further includes a positioning element configured to position the casing at or on the pile, wherein at least a portion of the positioning element is positioned between the chamber and the pile. The assembly further includes actuating means, wherein actuation of the actuating means displaces the chamber relative to the positioning element, such that the chamber moves away from the pile, and wherein the actuating means is configured to release the chamber for displacement towards the pile such that a force is exerted by the chamber on the positioning member, to controllably drive the pile into the ground.
PILE-DRIVER ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF USING IT
A pile-driver assembly for driving a pile into the ground is disclosed. The assembly includes a casing defining a chamber configured to house a fluid; a positioning element configured to position the casing at or on the pile; and actuating means. Actuation of the actuating means displaces the chamber relative to the positioning element such that the chamber moves away from the pile to an elevated position. The actuating means is configured to release the chamber from the elevated position for displacement towards the pile such that a force is exerted by the chamber on the positioning member, to controllably drive the pile into the ground. The assembly further includes buffering means, the buffering means being configured to controllably buffer the force exerted by the chamber on the pile as the pile is driven into the ground. The buffering means is configured to rebound the chamber to a rebound position. Further actuation of the actuating means displaces the chamber relative to the positioning element, such that the chamber moves from the rebound position to the elevated position. A control system for controlling the pile-driver assembly and a method of driving a pile into ground using the pile-driver assembly are also disclosed.
EQUIPMENT FOR BURYING POLES INTO THE GROUND
Equipment for burying poles into the ground. The equipment includes a base frame associable with a machine for the movement of the equipment; a hammering assembly associated movable with the base frame and adapted to bury a pole to allow its at least partial penetration into the ground at a burying position; and a gripping and positioning assembly of the pole, associated with the base frame and adapted to grasp the pole and to position it under the hammering assembly at the burying position.
Template and a method of using the template
A template for installing piles underwater includes a template frame and pile guides having parallel pile guide centerlines and being fixed to the template frame. Each pile guide has a pile guide frame that surrounds a passageway configured for passing a pile therethrough. Each pile guide frame includes upper and lower ends. Each pile guide includes a spacer fixed to the pile guide frame and protruding into the passageway. The spacer has a pile contact surface for guiding a pile. The pile contact surface encloses an imaginary cylinder including a centerline which coincides with the pile guide centerline. In a circumferential direction about the pile guide centerline, the location of the pile contact surface shifts with respect to the corresponding pile guide frame in a direction from the lower end to the upper end thereof as seen in a direction from the template center to the pile guide centerline.
System and method for sealing expanded polymer-based pile shoes for jacket
The present invention belongs to the technical field of offshore wind power construction and particularly relates to a system and a method for sealing expanded polymer-based pile shoes for a jacket. The system comprises a jacket disposed on a seabed, several pile shoes arranged around a lower end of the jacket, and several steel pipe piles inserted into the seabed, wherein the steel pipe piles are inserted into the corresponding pile shoes. The system is characterized in that gaps between the pile shoes and the steel pipe piles are respectively filled with concrete and an expanded high polymer from top to bottom, an annular elastic diaphragm is further connected to the inner walls of the pile shoes, and the expanded polymer is wrapped by the elastic diaphragm, such that the expanded polymer is isolated from the steel pipe piles and the concrete.

GROUND MOUNTING ASSEMBLY
A ground mounting assembly includes one or a plurality of posts, each attached to at least one stabilizing plate or scoop pyramid. The post may be driven into the ground and then lifted to deploy plates into a locking mechanism, or driven into the ground by a pile driver with plate held in place, released, and driven further and deployed into a locking mechanism, or driven into the ground and double pounded inside the post to drive reinforcing plate into slotted winglets, or driven, double pounded and rotated to extend the reinforcing plates horizontally from the pole or pile. The post also can used as a mooring in harbors, lakes, or at sea. A system based on a double pounder pile driven mono pole, optionally extendable in length, is also described.
