The subject matter relates to a method and an apparatus for vibrating-in a foundation into a building ground by initiating vibrations generated by means of a vibrating device attached to the foundation, the vibrations causing liquefaction of the building ground so that the foundation penetrates the building ground.
Casing protection bit
Provided is a casing protection bit mounted on a casing tube in combination with a cutter bit to prevent abrasion or chipping of the cutter bit. The present invention is to provide a casing protection bit 1 to be mounted on a casing tube, the casing protection bit including: a base portion 2 that protrudes in an axial direction of the casing tube, the base portion having a mountain shape; and two leg portions 3 and 4 extending continuously with the base portion 2 and facing each other at a predetermined distance. In the casing protection bit cemented carbide tips 5a to 5j are disposed on all planes of the base portion 2 except for a plane from which the leg portions 3 and 4 extend.

Certain aspects of removing submerged piles of offshore production platforms can be implemented as methods. A top deck of a fixed offshore platform installed on a mudline of a body of water is removed. An upper structure of the fixed offshore platform is removed. The upper structure is below the top deck. A lower structure is secured to the mudline by one or more structural piles remaining. The one or more structural piles, which are housed within one or more members of the lower structure, are driven below the mudline. The lower structure of the fixe offshore platform is removed. The one or more structural piles are left below the mudline.

UNDERWATER DRILLING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CREATING A CASED BOREHOLE UNDERWATER
The invention relates to an underwater drilling apparatus comprising a lowerable platform configured for setting down on a waterbody bottom, at least one support tube axially displaceable and rotatably mounted on the platform, at least one tubular drive arranged on the platform and configured for rotationally driving the support tube, in order to rotationally introduce the support tube into the waterbody bottom, and an in-hole drilling rig arranged in the support tube, wherein the in-hole drilling rig comprises: a rig base body, at least one clamping device for bracing and securing the in-hole drilling rig in the support tube, and a drill head which is axially displaceably and is rotatably mounted on the rig base body and can be rotationally driven by means of a drill drive. According to the invention, it is provided that, when the support tube is rotationally driven, the in-hole drilling rig is arranged in the support tube and is axially clamped thereto.

A foundation pile end piece is provided that includes a ring-shape connection housing, where a proximal end of the ring-shape connection housing is configured to secure to a bottom end of a foundation pile, a moveable tip, where a distal end of the ring-shape connection housing is configured to fixedly hold the moveable tip, where the moveable tip is disposed to oscillate transversely with respect to a central axis of the ring-shape connection housing, where the moveable tip is configured to displace soil from the bottom end of the foundation pile according to actuation of the oscillation.
