Enhanced Leachate Evaporation With Heat Induced Acceleration Process
The invention disclosed herein includes apparatus and a method for enhancing the evaporation rate of leachate from leachate evaporator ponds. The HIAP apparatus and method promotes enhances evaporation by providing heat from high powered industrial heat lamps that direct heated air and heat energy across the air/leachate liquid interface of the evaporator pond surface to increase the evaporation rate of leachate from the evaporator pond.

Integral side slope structure of soil covering tank
An integral side slope structure of a soil-covered tank, includes a tank body, connecting pieces, and reinforcing frameworks. The exterior of the tank body is completely covered with soil, and a side slope is formed after the tank body is covered with the soil; each connecting piece is composed of ribs which are in cross connection to each other; the connecting pieces are connected to the outer wall of the tank body and are laid inside the side slope in the horizontal direction; a single-layer connecting net is formed after a single layer of the connecting pieces is connected to the tank body; a plurality of layers of the connecting pieces are arranged at intervals in the vertical direction; the tank body and the side slope are connected by the multi-layer connecting net to form an integral structure; the reinforcing frameworks are arranged along the side slope.
BULWARK STRUCTURE AND METHOD
A bund system for the retention of solid or liquid or pourable waste material; bunds of the bund system comprising retaining structures; the retaining structures including at least one vertical structural element relative a base; the base covering a portion of a ground surface; the bunds maintained in a selected position on the ground surface by interaction of the retaining elements with a mass of compacted material.
Also disclosed is a method of forming a waste retention area by enclosing the waste retention area by bunds; the bunds comprising at least one substantially vertical retaining structure relative a base extending over a portion of a ground surface; the method including the steps of; positioning retaining structures on the ground surface to form an enclosed area; horizontal base panels of the retaining structures facing inwards to the enclosed area, welding overlap portions of sealing elements at adjacent vertical and horizontal joints between adjoining retaining structures, placing an impervious liner over the ground surface of the enclosed area, welding edges of the impervious liner to edges of sealing elements at inward edges of the horizontal base panels.

Surveying system, staking assistance method, and storage medium storing staking assistance program
A surveying system including a surveying device and a terminal device for assisting in placement of a staking tool. The surveying system further includes: a design information acquisition unit for acquiring design information including a designed slope; a surveying information acquisition unit for transmitting surveying information to a terminal device; a current state estimation unit for calculating an estimated altitude of a current ground in accordance with the surveying information; an intersection calculation unit for calculating a coordinate of an intersection between the current ground and the designed slope based on the estimated altitude of the current ground and the design information; a stake shape determination unit for determining a shape of a stake to be placed; and a stake shape information unit for causing the terminal device to inform of the shape of the stake determined by the stake shape determination unit.
Slope stability LiDAR
A Slope Stability Lidar that directs a beam of optical radiation into an area on a point by point basis, each point having an elevation and azimuth and a processor that acquires data and processes the data to compile direction data, range data and amplitude data for each point, segments the acquired data into blocks of data defining a voxel, averaging the acquired range data within the voxel to produce a precise voxel range value for each voxel, comparing voxel range values over time to identify movement and generating an alert if movement exceeds a threshold.

SAND SHIELD MADE OF COMBINED POLYMER STABILIZED SAND BERM AND INCLINED NONMETALLIC GEO-GRID
An assembly for protecting an area from sand drift accumulation comprises a sand berm having an exposed surface that is chemically stabilized using a stabilizing agent and a fence embedded in the exposed surface of the sand berm at an angle to vertical. The fence deflects wind flow directed toward the sand berm downwards, protecting the area downwind from sand drift accumulation.
