Manhole assembly
A manhole assembly including a base, riser, and cap. The base having an upper surface forming a bench, a bottom surface, and a radially outward surface with penetrations there through; and a radial spigot in the radially outward upper edge of the base. The base having a corrosive-resistant layer covering the channels, bench, and radial spigot. Also disclosed is a riser comprised of a corrosive-resistant polymer pipe having a radially outward surface, an inner surface and a bottom surface in contact with, supported by, and sealed to the radial spigot. The cap having a radial spigot, and access hole; the radial spigot in the radially outward bottom edge of the cap resting upon and sealed to an upper edge of the riser. The radially outward surface of the cap and base are aligned with the radially outward surface of the riser.
Trenchless method of installing a monolithic manhole in a levee for pipe access
A monolithic manhole is formed in a levee without trenching, to provide access to drain pipes within the levee for maintenance and repair of the pipes. The manhole is formed by first forcing an outer tube downwardly into the earth and levee and removing soil from within the outer tube to expose the pipe. An inner tube is lowered into the outer tube, with an annular space maintained between the tubes. The annular space is filled with concrete, which hardens to form a monolithic vertical wall. A concrete floor may be poured at the bottom of the wall and a cover attached to the top of the wall. A hole is cut in the pipe inside the wall to provide internal access to the pipe.

Integrated Access Box
An integrated access box for providing surface access to a curb box or other structure, and tracer wires in a single unit. The integrated access box generally includes a body having a first end and a second end and a first chamber (e.g., a curb box chamber or cleanout chamber) extending into the first end toward the second end of the body. The body may be substantially cylindrical in shape, and may include a first opening near the first end of the body and a first chamber access opening in the first chamber near the top of the body, and a tracer wire chamber extending into the body. The tracer wire chamber includes a second opening near the first end of the body. The integrated access box may further include a tracer wire access opening in the tracer wire chamber near the top of the body.

Multi-sensor manhole survey
This invention employs proprietary multi-sensor inspection systems that enable the acquisition of extremely accurate data and comprehensive assessments of maintenance holes and trunk sewers during operation. The invention maps fisheye camera data onto time of flight (TOF) laser data to provide rapid and accurate 3D data and full space angle video imaging of the interiors on manholes and other structures.

Manhole Cover Roadway Electromagnetic Safety Device
A method and device for controlling EM radiation from an exposed manhole around roadways. A remote field unit controller is disposed under a manhole cover proximal to a roadway, with a sensor attached to either the manhole cover, a manhole, or the remote field unit controller, providing information of at least one of a position, acceleration, direction of the manhole cover. An EM transmitter/receiver and EM emitter/absorber are disposed under the manhole cover and an EM controller communicates to the EM transmitter. When the sensor detects sufficient movement of the manhole cover, a signal is sent to the remote field unit controller to at least one of suppress, alter, and turn off EM emissions from the EM transmitter so as to prevent EM radiation from entering the roadway. The EM transmitter is at least one of a lidar, infrared, EM, and time-of-flight emitter or sensor.
Manhole element
The invention relates to a manhole element (a shaft element) (1) for forming at least a portion of a manhole structure (a shaft structure) (2), which manhole element is comprised of a base body (3) delimiting a hollow space; wherein at least one detection device (4), which is designed to detect and determine at least one detection variable, as well as an associated transmission device (5), which is designed to transmit the detection variables acquired by the detection device (4) to at least one communication partner, are integrated into the base body (3).
