Manhole saddle tee
An apparatus and an associated method of installing a manhole assembly upon a pipe is disclosed herein. One example of the method comprises the steps of: exposing a joining section of the pipe; cutting a pipe access hole in the joining section. One prepared, a saddle may be positioned adjacent the perimeter surface of the hole such that the seal is positioned between the saddle and the joining section. The saddle in one example having a surface defining a saddle access hole there through, the saddle access hole substantially aligned with the pipe access hole during installation. The method may include the step of encapsulating these structures with a grouting material such as concrete or an equivalent. The method may include the step of providing a riser having a bottom surface resting upon the support surface of the spigot and a radially inward surface engaging the alignment surface.
VERTICAL MANHOLE APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING ACCESS TO LEACHATE COLLECTION PIPES IN A LANDFILL
A vertical manhole apparatus for use in a waste facility to provide access to one or more leachate collection pipe access points. The vertical manhole is stabilized using stabilizing features extending out from a vertical pipe of the vertical manhole apparatus.
TRENCHLESS METHOD OF INSTALLING A MONOLITHIC MANHOLE IN A LEVEE FOR PIPE ACCESS
A monolithic manhole is formed in a levee without trenching, to provide access to drain pipes within the levee for maintenance and repair of the pipes. The manhole is formed by first forcing an outer tube downwardly into the earth and levee and removing soil from within the outer tube to expose the pipe. An inner tube is lowered into the outer tube, with an annular space maintained between the tubes. The annular space is filled with concrete, which hardens to form a monolithic vertical wall. A concrete floor may be poured at the bottom of the wall and a cover attached to the top of the wall. A hole is cut in the pipe inside the wall to provide internal access to the pipe.
Systems and Methods for Rehabilitating, Repairing, and Replacing Manholes and Connected Sewer Lines
The present invention is a method for rehabilitating, repairing, and replacing manholes and connected sewer lines. In some embodiments, a compressed liner is inserted through the manhole access hole or the connected sewer lines. Prior to insertion, the liner may be cut and/or folded to be compressed to a size that can fit through the manhole opening or the sewer lines. Once inserted in the manhole or sewer lines, the liner should be expanded, and if necessary, bonded together with a resin along the separation line. Next, a bonding material may be injected between the liner and a surface of the manhole or sewer line to seal any cracks or fissures in the brick or concrete wall and to seal the liner against the existing manhole or sewer line to improve structural integrity and longevity. A new corbel may then be installed and bonded to the liner.
Hole former with gasket locating features for cast manhole structures
A hole former for use in casting a gasket within an opening of a structure of the type used in underground water systems, such as a manhole. The hole former includes a body defining a central axis and an outer peripheral surface, with at least one gasket retention element projecting radially outwardly from the outer peripheral surface to interface with a corresponding locating feature of the gasket. In this manner, axial shifting or movement of the gasket with respect to the hole former is restricted, thereby positively locating and retaining the gasket on the hole former before and during the casting process. The hole former may have a compound curvature, with the gasket retained around the periphery of the hole former in a compound curved configuration.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR EXTENDING THE HEIGHT OF A MANHOLE
A trenchless method of installing a new poured-in-place manhole liner provides structural rehabilitation to an existing buried manhole, and is extended above the existing manhole to a higher pre-determined elevation to match the finished grade of a raised levee design. The new liner can be formed in a single or double stage process, which substantially eliminates trenching and excavation of soil, so that new levee soil is not disturbed. The process is faster and less expensive than building a totally new manhole, and maintains the structural integrity of the levee.
Meter Pit And Method Of Manufacturing The Same
A pit defining an opening and having a footing. Cutouts are located in the footing and are created in mold to avoid secondary cutting operations. The wall of the pit above the footing is narrower than the footing and includes ribs extending from the wall for added compressive resistance. The ribs may vary in size both in length and extension into the center of the pit.

Assembled recyclable rectangular working well with preset detachable door opening and construction method thereof
A method for constructing an assembled recyclable rectangular working well with preset detachable door openings comprises steps of: (I) designing according to functional requirements for a rectangular working well; (II) constructing by supporting piles; (III) installing prefabricated top beam; (IV) edge protection construction; (V) alternate construction of earthwork excavation, retaining slabs and internal support breast beams; (VI) installing the ladder entering the rectangular working well; (VII) rectangular working well back cover; (VIII) demolition of the detachable subsection support piles in the door part and completing the construction of the assembled recyclable rectangular working well in the preset detachable door hole; (IX) after the operation in the well is completed, during the backfilling process of the rectangular working well, gradually recovering the working well components such as the retaining slab, the internal support girder, the prefabricated crown beam and the supporting piles.
SUPPORT MEMBER
A support member comprises abeam (12) having flanges (16, 18) connected to a central web (14). A first set of wings (20, 22) and a second set of wings (30, 32) are connected to the flange (16). A plurality of angled plates (80, 82, 84, 86) are attached to the flanges (16, 18) of the beam (12). to form receptacles defined between the plates, the web (14) and the flanges, (16, 18) of the beam (12). The receptacle has a relatively large upper opening. The plate (80) has a lower edge that is spaced away from the web (14) so that a bottom opening in the form of a slot between the lower edge of the plate (80) and the web (14) is formed. Alternatively, the lower edge of the plate (80) may come into contact with the web (14) (and be welded thereto), and the receptacle thus formed may have a lower opening formed by having a hole opening in the plate (80) at a lower region of the plate (80).
