Blindside waterproofed building foundation system and method of forming same
A blindside waterproofed building foundation system and method of forming the same are provided. The system includes a lagging wall, a monolithic waterproof layer adjacent to the lagging wall, and a foundation layer adjacent to the monolithic waterproof layer. The system and method provide a monolithic waterproofing layer that can remain adhered to a foundation surface even if the materials used to construct the lagging wall deteriorates, decomposes, or moves over time.
BELOW GRADE, BLIND SIDE, WATERPROOFING SHEET MEMBRANE WITH ADHESIVE AND HIGH REFLECTIVITY GRANULAR PARTICLE LAYER TO FULLY BOND TO CONCRETE/SHOTCRETE, AND A METHOD OF MAKING, AND USING SAME
The invention relates to a below grade, blind side, waterproofing sheet membrane with adhesive and high reflectivity granular particle layer, and having a top release liner, and a bottom release liner, enhancing bond strength between sheets, and be able to fully bond to concrete/shotcrete, and a method of making, and using same. The inventive waterproofing sheet membrane with adhesive, has at least one layer of high reflectivity granular particle layer that are fully or partly embedded into the adhesive layer, and where the average reflectivity of the exposed granular particles is between about 35 percent to 80 percent reflectivity on a standard reflectivity scale. The waterproofing sheet membrane has an adhesive layer having embedded therein high reflectivity granular particles is used in any building or wall construction, and can be placed under or around a foundation of a building or on its below grade blind side retaining walls, etc.

COMPOSITE WALL AND METHODS OF CONSTRUCTING A COMPOSITE WALL
Composite walls have the structural components connected to form a substantially unitary structure. A composite wall is described that includes a block and/or brick wythe adhered to a poured concrete wall. The composite wall may also have a panel sheet material adhered to the poured concrete opposite surface of the poured concrete wall. Further, the composite wall may include a first wythe comprising concrete blocks, bricks, or a combination thereof, a poured concrete core, and a rigid insulation panel, wherein at least a portion of the blocks and/or bricks of the first wythe are adhered to a first surface of the concrete core and the rigid insulation panel is adhered to a second surface of the poured concrete core. Wire ties may extend from the mortar joints in the first wythe through the rigid insulation panel.
Draining mesh module and a method of operating a draining mesh in a construction
A draining mesh module for building into a construction, such as a tunnel wall, to provide draining channels in said construction, includes at least one semi pipe of a flexible material. The draining mesh module has a longitudinal direction and a cross direction extending crosswise to the longitudinal direction. The semi pipe constitutes a part of a channel extending from one longitudinal end to an opposite longitudinal end of the draining mesh module, and that the longitudinal ends of the draining mesh module comprise attachment means for interconnecting longitudinal ends of two adjacent draining mesh modules, whereby a channel in one of those two draining mesh modules is connected to a channel in the other of those two draining mesh modules.
Peel and stick waterproofing material
Disclosed is waterproofing sheeting that uses a polyester layer that provides high lateral stability and puncture resistance. The waterproof sheeting can be used in many applications including waterproof roof underlayments waterproof sheeting for foundations, underlayment for tile and flooring and various other applications. The waterproof sheeting can be manufactured without many of the problems associated with the granular coatings of existing waterproof sheeting that create excessive wear and environmental hazards.

BELOW GRADE, BLIND SIDE, DUAL WATERPROOFING MEMBRANE ASSEMBLY INCORPORATING A BENTONITE SHEET WATERPROOFING MEMBRANE, AND A SHEET MEMBRANE WITH ADHESIVE TO FULLY BOND TO CONCRETE/SHOTCRETE, AND A METHOD OF MAKING, AND USING SAME
The present invention relates to a below grade, blind side, dual waterproofing membrane assembly incorporating a secondary membrane comprising of a bentonite sheet waterproofing layer, and a primary membrane comprising of a sheet membrane having an adhesive to fully bond to a concrete/shotcrete. The invention encompasses a dual layer or dual membrane system that acts as a barrier, and prevents, and blocks water and moisture, from passing from one side of the structure to the other side. The dual barrier layer system can be used along a wall, a floor, a ceiling, or along any structure which requires water or moisture proofing. The invention can be used between a concrete or shotcrete layer and the surrounding earth, such as, along an area that has a high water table, or a constant hydrostatic pressure, or high ground moisture, that may creep into a foundation or a wall.
