Prefabricated bamboo composite utility tunnel
A composite utility tunnel including a plurality of prefabricated tunnel units which are connected to one another. Each tunnel unit includes a tunnel body and a support component. The tunnel body includes a liner layer, a structural layer and an outer protective layer from inside to outside in the radial direction. The liner layer includes a flame-retardant resin and a flame-retardant fabric. The structural layer at least includes a plurality of bamboo strip layers including winding bamboo strips to which a water-soluble resin is adhered. The outer protective layer at least includes flame-retardant resin; and the support component is secured to an inner surface of the tunnel body.
Devices, systems and methods for erosion control
A high strength environmental control device comprising a mesh container having at least one interior and one exterior surface is provided. The interior of the mesh container can comprise a filler material. The mesh container can comprise a plurality of yarns, including viscose fibers, interlaced together.
Reinforced syntactic structure
Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to reinforced syntactic structures and methods of forming the same to encase an underlying structural substrate for remediation and/or improve structural stability. The reinforced syntactic structure includes an underlying structural substrate having an outer surface and at least one reinforcement shell. The reinforcement shell is formed from at least one syntactic foam shell layer encasing at least a portion of the outer surface of the underlying structural substrate and at least one rigid noncorrosive stiffening skin coupled to the syntactic foam shell layer. The syntactic foam shell layer includes at least two opposing subshells wrapped around the underlying structural substrate and the rigid noncorrosive stiffening skin includes at least two opposing skin sections attached to the at least two opposing subshells respectively. The syntactic foam shell layer is formed from syntactic foam which includes hollow microspheres disposed within a resin matrix.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR STREAM RESTORATION
Systems and methods for creating habitats for benthic macro-invertebrate organisms and fish are provided. The system contains a platform and woody material attached thereto. The platform also contains openings for trapping useful organic materials, such as leaf pack and wood, and tassels that provide additional habitats or attached the woody material. The system may be installed in a river, stream, creek, or other fresh water source. The platform may be substantially flat, or may be bent to form a hollow-tube-shaped structure, with openings at both ends of the structure. The systems provide habitat, places to hold on during high flows, places to trap useable organics such as leaf pack and wood and nesting areas to support macrobenthic organisms. The system can be placed into a stream channel to restore the stream or maintain healthy conditions in a stream.
Erosion control apparatus
The present invention relates to an erosion control apparatus and methods of using and installing the apparatus. The apparatus is constructed to prevent erosion of soil during typical weather or tidal conditions and adverse weather events. The apparatus can include a plurality of anchored rolls and soil lifts operative to stabilize the shoreline.
PREFABRICATED BAMBOO COMPOSITE UTILITY TUNNEL

EROSION CONTROL APPARATUS
The present invention relates to an erosion control apparatus and methods of using and installing the apparatus. The apparatus is constructed to prevent erosion of soil during typical weather or tidal conditions and adverse weather events. The apparatus can include an anchored marsh installation operative to stabilize a tidal marsh and shoreline.
WOODEN CONNECTION STRUCTURE FOR SEISMIC RESISTANCE IN PILE FOUNDATIONS
A wooden connection structure for seismic resistance in pile foundations includes a base, a supporting pile and four seismic isolation frames; the base is provided with a central groove and a rectangular groove; the supporting pile includes a connecting column, a supporting disc and a central square column; the seismic isolation frame includes a wooden frame and a guide circular tube, the wooden frame is a mortise-and-tenon joint structure; the four seismic isolation frames are respectively sleeved in four rectangular grooves; a lower part of the central square column is sleeved in the square groove, four side facades of the central square column are in contact with side facades of the four seismic isolation frames respectively; and lower parts of the four guide cylinders are respectively sleeved in four guide circular tubes. The wooden connection structure allows for the comprehensive absorption and dispersion of seismic wave energy.
