EARTH RETENTION LEVEE SYSTEM
20180305883 · 2018-10-25 ·

An earth retention levee system is disclosed which is constructed from spaced apart facing parallel walls of interlocking sheet piles (1, 2) said sheet piles having outside faces (5) and inside faces (4) formed with gridspines (10) along a longitudinal extent thereof, said gridspines (10) being connected to adjacent edges of geogrids (20) which link said parallel walls and stabilise fill (21) disposed therebetween.

MODULAR BLOCK RETAINING WALL CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM WITH SPACER PLATES AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURE AND USE
20180274195 · 2018-09-27 ·

A modular block retaining wall construction system with a plurality of spacer plates securely fastened to a plurality of blocks. At least one arm extends (i) from each of the plurality of spacer plates, and (ii) partially into an aperture in the one of the plurality of modular blocks. Each of the plurality of spacer plates includes a plate that is spaced from the one of the plurality of modular blocks via the at least one arm at a predetermined distance, thereby defining a cavity therebetween. In this manner, the cavity can be filled with a predetermined amount of material, e.g., gravel, to facilitating proper drainage of liquid, e.g., water, from the soil and/or other material retained by the retaining wall of the present inventive concept.

ENGINEERING METHOD FOR REINFORCING AND LIFTING A SUNKEN FOUNDATION OF A RESIDENTIAL BUILDING
20240318400 · 2024-09-26 ·

An engineering method for reinforcing and lifting a sunken foundation of a residential building includes stratigraphic structure, conducting a curtain reinforcement, reinforcing and strengthening a shallow layer, reinforcing a deep layer, steadily lifting an intermediate layer, and reinforcement supports of the composite foundation, the shallow layer reinforcement and strengthening adopts a progressive layered reinforcement process, the foundation slab of the building is reinforced with grouting to form the reinforcement body of an integral raft composite foundation. A support of the composite foundation similar to the pile foundation is constructed under four corners of the building and under the main load-bearing walls of the room. A structure supporting the upper load is formed through repeated retreating and progressive grouting.

ANNULAR ANCHOR, METHOD FOR CALCULATING ANTITORQUE BEARING STRENGTH THEREOF AND INSTALLING AND RECYCLING ASSEMBLE FOR THE ANCHOR

The present disclosure provides an annular anchor, a method for calculating antitorque bearing strength thereof and an installing and recycling assemble for the anchor, relating to the technical field of ocean engineering. The annular anchor includes an anchor body opened at its upper and lower ends, and a connection portion arranged on the outer side wall of said anchor body for connecting with parts to be moored. The annular anchor provided by the present disclosure omits the top cover as the structure prevailing in the traditional suction anchor, avoiding the drawback of installing the traditional suction anchor on the seabed, instead the annular anchor can be installed to a certain depth below the seabed. During the descent, there is no need to take into account the resistance caused by the top cover, so that the annular anchor can be installed simply and quickly.

COMPREHENSIVE EXCAVATION PROCESS
20180230665 · 2018-08-16 ·

Disclosed is a comprehensive excavation process performed on an excavation site. The process includes installing wellpoints for lowering the groundwater level within the excavation site and stabilizing the boundary soil walls of the excavation site by an improved soil nailing method. The improved soil nailing method employs casing pipes that are part of the wellpoint system as reinforcing elements for the stabilization of the soil walls.

IN-SITU RECONSTRUCTION AND EXTENSION STRUCTURE OF EMBANKMENT AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD THEREOF
20240352682 · 2024-10-24 ·

An in-situ reconstruction and extension structure of an embankment and a construction method thereof are provided. The structure includes a stepped slope excavated on an existing side slope. A gradient of the stepped slope is the same as that of an extension side slope, the stepped slope is individually intersected with top and bottom planes of existing side slope; a toe of existing side slope is taken as a toe of the extension side slope, and gradient of the extension side slope is determined according to positions of the toe and an expanded width. An outer side of stepped slope is filled with a geogrid reinforcement layer in a layered manner, a slope protection structure is arranged on an outer side of the geogrid reinforcement layer to form extension equivalent side slope; a drainage system is arranged at a bottom of the extension side slope.

MECHANICALLY STABILIZED EARTH (MSE) RETAINING WALL EMPLOYING REINFORCEMENT RODS
20240360642 · 2024-10-31 ·

Disclosed are embodiments of a mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) retaining wall that employs one or more reinforcement rods and that can be produced with inexpensive, widely available parts. A concrete panel is provided. A steel connector is provided with a loop and first and second stems. The loop is secured within the concrete panel. The first and second stems are secured to and extend in a linear manner outwardly from the loop. Each of the stems has a circular aperture, which are aligned. A steel reinforcement rod is provided within backfill soil. A steel threaded attachment rod is secured to and extends perpendicular from the reinforcement rod. The attachment rod also extends through the circular apertures of the connector. A screw nut is threaded on the attachment rod to thereby secure together the stems and the reinforcement rod.

RETAINING WALL SYSTEM, METHOD OF SUPPORTING SAME, AND KIT FOR USE IN CONSTRUCTING SAME

A retaining wall can include wall blocks positioned to retain material against a rear side of the wall blocks. A method for supporting such a retaining wall method includes attaching at least one of the wall blocks to at least one ground-stabilizing base body supporting the wall blocks. The ground-stabilizing base body can include a flexible cable attached to the rear side of at least one of the wall blocks and to a portion extending rearward away from the rear side of at least one of the wall blocks.
