Seafloor Pipeline Removal System and Method
The present invention relates to a system and method for uncovering and removing pipeline from the seafloor using a subsea trenching system using pressurized water to uncover pipe, a subsea shear carried by a barge to cut lengths of the pipeline, and a grapple carried by a barge to lift cut lengths of pipeline for placement on a pipe haul and recovery barge.

SUBSURFACE BARRIER RETENTION SYSTEM AND METHODS RELATED THERETO
A subsurface retention barrier system installed in situ to retain water in a projected root zone of one or more plants is disclosed. An apparatus and system for installing the subsurface retention barriers and methods related thereto are also disclosed.
Seabed Plow Chassis Capable of Over-the-Stern Release and Retrieval in Any of Boulder Clearing, Trenching and Backfill Configurations
A seabed plow capable of over-the-stern release and retrieval is usable in any of boulder clearing, trench cutting and backfill modes. In its boulder clearing mode, the plow uses its skid in torquing configuration followed by moldboards to push boulders out of the path to be trenched. In the trench cutting mode, the plow uses the skid in the same configuration with its share and moldboards for initial trench depth and the same share and moldboards with moldboard extensions for increasing trench depth in subsequent passes. In the backfill mode, the plow uses its skid in trench-straddling configuration following a blade with a passage designed to discharge fragmented spoil directly onto the pipe being covered. Thus, a single plow can be reconfigured for all modes for release and retrieval to and from a relatively small vessel without use of heavy lifting equipment.
Over-the-stern deep digging trenching plow with instrumentation for assessing the protective capabilities of a seabed trench
A seabed trenching plow has a chassis, a sled and a towing assembly. The towing assembly has a pair of wings extending laterally from each side of the chassis. The wings are aligned on an axis transverse to the chassis and adapted for connection to a towing line. The transverse axis is forward of the center of gravity of the plow and rearward of the sled, affording an over the stern releasable and retrievable trenching plow of sufficient weight and strength to excavate a three meter trench in a single pass. To assess the protective capabilities of the trench, a threshold signal indicative of a desired composition of seabed-trench soil is compared with a real-time data signal indicative of the actual to produce an alarm signal when the real-time data signal is not protective-capability compliant with the threshold signal.
Display system of excavating machine, excavating machine, and display computer program of excavating machine
A display system of excavating machine includes a vehicle state detection unit configured to detect information related to a current position and a posture of the excavator as an excavating machine; a storage unit configured to store at least position information of a target surface indicating a target shape of an object to be worked; a bucket tilt detection unit configured to detect a tilt angle of the bucket; and a processing unit configured to obtain an angle between the edge and the target surface from a position of the edge of the bucket obtained based on the tilt angle of the bucket and the information related to a current position and a posture of the excavator and to display posture information indicating information related to a posture of the bucket on a screen of a display unit based on the obtained edge tilt angle.
Subsurface barrier retention system and methods related thereto
A subsurface retention barrier system installed in situ to retain water in a projected root zone of one or more plants is disclosed. An apparatus and system for installing the subsurface retention barriers and methods related thereto are also disclosed.
Apparatus with divergent V-wing blade configuration
An apparatus features front blade sections fixed to the frame in a V-configuration, and a pull tongue extending over the blade apex to a pivotal connection near a rear of the frame. An actuation mechanism effects relative pivoting between the frame and the pull tongue to adjust an angle between the front blade and the trailer tongue to control a position of the blade apex. Two rear blade sections on opposing sides of the frame are movable between deployed positions extending rearwardly and laterally outward from the front blade sections, and stowed positions elevated out of the deployed positions. The rear blade sections are movable downwardly past a plane in which they align with the front blade sections, thus enabling different working operations.
Forward advancing landscape edging apparatus
An apparatus for cutting an edging trench around a landscape bed is constructed with a cutting blade that is rotated to help move the apparatus in the desired direction of travel while being operated to create an edging trench. The machine can be constructed in self-propelled, non-self-propelled or manually operated stick forms. The apparatus has a cutting blade that is configured in a cone-shaped manner with the narrow diameter located toward the center of the apparatus. The rotor is formed with a pair of thin slicing blades mounted on a spline shaft removable from the apparatus for maintenance. A first slicing blade shears the grass along the top of the trench and forms a vertical wall, while a second slicing blade forms a sloped wall. Displaced soil is discharged from the cutting blade and spread directly over the adjacent landscape bed to eliminate the need for subsequent clean-up operations.
PORTABLE TRENCHING DEVICE
A trenching device rotating a trenching chain through a substrate to form a trench. The trenching device including a power unit, a drive unit including a belt drive system, and a trenching unit including a trenching chain and configured to rotate the trenching chain about a trenching bar.
