Method and apparatus for forming a trench in a sea floor
An apparatus for forming a trench in a sea floor and/or displacing material on the sea floor is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a body and front skids mounted to the body for engaging the sea floor and supporting the body. The front skids are adjustable between a first mode, in which the front skids engage the sea floor, and a second mode, in which the front skids engage the sea floor adjacent the trench and at the trench walls.
Fluid Jet Agricultural Devices, Systems and Methods
An ultra high-pressure liquid jet soil processing system of an agricultural implement is provided. The ultra high-pressure liquid jet soil processing system includes a frame, an ultra high-pressure liquid pump disposed on the frame, a set of ultra high-pressure lines fluidly connected to the ultra high-pressure liquid pump, and at least a first liquid jet soil implementation head and a second liquid jet soil implementation head fluidly connected to the ultra high-pressure liquid pump via the set of ultra high-pressure lines. The first and second implementation heads are configured to condition soil for seed deposition by generating a plurality of trenches.
Reverse Tram Interlock
The present Application discloses a trenching device with two operational modes, Mode 1 and mode 2. In Mode 1, the trenching lever is disengaged, the device does not trench, but only functions as a transporting unit in a forward direction with a maximum speed. In Mode 2, the trenching lever is engaged, the device starts trenching, but stops functioning as a transporting unit.
Membrane-Lined Wall
A method for forming a trench and a membrane-lined wall in the trench for levee reinforcement or leak prevention, prevention of water migration, and pollution co of impoundments. The membrane-lined wall generally includes a cementitious or concrete wall formed within an excavated trench. The concrete may be internally reinforced, and the wall may also comprise a double-layer of impermeable geomembrane liner that forms a barrier between the concrete and the sides and bottom of the trench. The membrane or liner reduces water migration, prevents levee leakage, and prevents the escape of contaminants in impoundments.

Construction machine
To prevent increase/decrease in pump flow rate due to load variation with change in the posture of a work attachment and improve the operability in arm pushing operation. A hydraulic excavator 1 with a front mechanism including an arm 33 driven by a hydraulic actuator 43 through operation of an operating lever 50 includes: first and second angle sensors 37 and 38 which detect the posture of the arm 33; and a controller 49 which, when the posture of the arm 33 is at a remoter side from an upperstructure 20 than a preset position and the position of a bucket 35 is adjusted from a maximum or nearly maximum preset operation amount of the operating lever 50 in arm pushing operation by the operating lever 50, changes the flow rate characteristic of pressure oil in relation to discharge pressure of a hydraulic pump 41 for supplying pressure oil to the hydraulic actuator 43, to characteristic PTS with a higher flow rate than flow rate characteristic PT at the time of operation with an operation amount other than the above operation amount, to drive the hydraulic pump 41.

Handheld trenching apparatus and method of using the same
A handheld trenching apparatus and method of forming a trench in ground using the apparatus. The apparatus has a frame, a cutting head, and a drive. The cutting head has a ground penetrating portion with a plurality of cutting members that are caused to be moved in a controlled path by the drive. The frame has an elongate frame part with the cutting head at one frame part end. The frame further has at least one graspable region spaced lengthwise of the elongate frame part from the first elongate frame part end. The ground penetrating portion is directed into the ground and while engaging the at least one graspable region the ground penetrating portion is moved in a trench forming direction as the drive is operated to thereby form a trench.

Method of modifying a bucket of a track loader and forming ditches with the modified track loader and apparatus therewith
Trench digging and carrying with the same bucket attachment present on one track vehicle, the created dual functionality saves both time and expense by doing on-site what would normally be required to be done with two separate vehicles and additional manpower. The bucket attachment is especially advantageous when used in areas with limited space. Another advantage is that the modification can be adapted to bucket vehicles of various sizes.
