Valve Assembly For Work Attachment
20190063040 · 2019-02-28 ·

A hydraulic control for an attachment on a work vehicle. The attachment is mounted on the chassis of the work vehicle and movable between a first position and a second position. A hydraulic cylinder is operable to power movement of the attachment. A fluid circuit communicates with the hydraulic cylinder and is configured to carry hydraulic fluid. A fluid reservoir is in communication with the fluid circuit. Accumulators that are in communication with the fluid circuit automatically store and release hydraulic fluid in response to movement of the attachment. A valve assembly controls fluid communication between the fluid reservoir and the fluid circuit in response to movement of the attachment to its second position.

Carouseling articulated dredge and barge

Described are a vessel and vessel/barge systems for dredging underwater surfaces. The vessel includes a hull with a bottom, bow portion, stern portion, port side, and starboard side. The vessel also includes a deck supported by the hull and a pump system mounted within the hull. A drag arm pivotably couples to the pump system. The vessel additionally includes a void defined by contiguous watertight walls or bulkheads joined to and extending upward from the bottom of the hull. The contiguous watertight walls or bulkheads are (i) vertically extensive of a perimeters of an aperture in the bottom of the hull, (ii) outboard, astern, and forward the aperture, or (iii) some combination thereof. The barge is releasably coupled to the vessel. Moreover, the barge is in fluidic communication with the drag arm.

PANFLUTE OVERFLOW SYSTEM

An overflow system for a hopper dredger includes an overflow tube; and a plurality of canals adjacent and substantially parallel to the overflow tube. The plurality of canals have inlets at different heights for taking in head water from the hopper. The plurality of canals fluidly connect to the overflow tube at a point downstream from the inlets.

A method and apparatus for digging and removing excavated material from a selected site provides a mobile device having a chassis that is movable or self-propelled. The mobile device has an elongated, preferably articulated boom with a free end portion having a digging implement that can include a digging tool, excavating tool or jetting tool. The boom preferably comprises at least three sections. The boom sections are foldable to a storage position on the chassis wherein one boom section stacks upon or is aligned with another boom section. The vacuum line is supported upon the boom wherein the vacuum line extends between the free end portion of the boom and the chassis. The boom attaches to the chassis at a base that can include a rotary or pivotal connection. The vacuum line supported by the boom extends along the boom and above the earth's surface. A selected material is excavated with the excavating implement (e.g., jetting tool or digging tool). The excavated material is vacuumed with the vacuum line into a collection vessel or tank that can be a part of a wheeled vehicle thus enabling transport to a disposal site. A separate vacuum truck can provide a vacuum to a selected collection tank.

Hydraulic Flow Manifold For Attachments
20180127950 · 2018-05-10 ·

A work vehicle is formed from a plurality of ground-contacting motive elements, a chassis, an operator station, a switch, and a hydraulic manifold. The operator station has a joystick having a manually-actuable control element used to actuate the switch. The hydraulic manifold has a pair of primary hydraulic ports, first and second pairs of secondary hydraulic ports, and a control valve. The control valve is actuated by the switch and is adapted to allow pressurized hydraulic fluid to flow through a selected one of the first or second pair of secondary hydraulic ports. Each pair of secondary hydraulic ports fluidly communicates with a hydraulic actuator carried by a work attachment. By actuating the control element on the joystick, the operator can conveniently switch the hydraulic control of the joystick between different hydraulic operations on the attachment without leaving the operator's station.
