CAPLESS AND UNIBEAM TRACK ROLLER MOUNTING SYSTEMS
A track driven machine is provided comprising an undercarriage drive system that includes a track, and a motor that powers the drive system, wherein the undercarriage drive system further includes at least one of a capless track roller mounting system and a central unibeam track roller mounting system.
Combination Tie Down Lug And Step Riser
A combination tie down lug and step riser includes a foot support portion, a hold down loop and a mounting portion. The combination tie down lug and step riser is preferably fabricated from a single piece of material. The foot support portion includes a plurality of projections extending upward from a top edge thereof. The hold down loop extends from one end of the foot rest portion. The hold down loop includes a U-shaped opening with the U-shaped opening positioned along a horizontal axis. The mounting portion extends from an opposing end of the foot support portion. Opposing ends of the hold down loop and the mounting portion are attached to an excavator base with welding or any other suitable attachment method.
LEVELING SYSTEM FOR LIFT DEVICE
A lift device includes a chassis, a boom pivotally coupled to the chassis, a first leveling assembly pivotally coupled to a first end of the chassis, a second leveling assembly pivotally coupled to an opposing second end of the chassis, and a control system. The first leveling assembly includes a first pair of actuators positioned to facilitate a first pitch adjustment and a first roll adjustment of the first end of the chassis. The second leveling assembly includes a second pair of actuators positioned to facilitate a second pitch adjustment and a second roll adjustment of the opposing second end of the chassis. The control system is configured to (i) actively control the first pair of actuators and the second pair of actuators during a first mode of operation, and (ii) actively control the first pair of actuators and facilitate passive control of the second pair of actuators during a second mode of operation.
VARIABLE ENGINE SPEED CONTROL
Power machines, control systems and methods that adjust engine speed based upon actuation of user input controls that control other power machine functions such as travel functions and lift arm functions. By controlling engine speed at least partially in response to the user input devices controlling other machine functions, more optimal engine speeds can be achieved.
EXCAVATOR TRACK TENSIONING
Power machines, power sources for power machines, and methods which provide a hydraulic signal from a hydraulic system, through the swivel joint or swivel, to control a tensioning cylinder coupled to the undercarriage without requiring a modification to the swivel. In exemplary embodiments, the same hydraulic signal provided to at least one other hydraulic component on the undercarriage to control another machine function is also provided to control one or more tensioning cylinders. For example, exemplary disclosed embodiments provide the same hydraulic signal to tension a tensioning cylinder as is provided to shift one or more two-speed drive motors. This prevents or reduces the likelihood of de-tracking without requiring a change or redesign of the swivel.
Systems and methods for controlling machine ground pressure and tipping
Methods and systems for operating an industrial machine. One system includes a controller that includes an electronic processor. The electronic processor is configured to calculate an eccentricity of a center of gravity of the industrial machine with respect to a center of a bearing propelling the industrial machine and calculate a ground pressure associated with the bearing based on the eccentricity of the center of gravity. The electronic processor is also configured to set a maximum torque applied by an actuator included in the industrial machine to a value less than an available maximum torque based on the eccentricity of the center of gravity and the ground pressure.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A MULTI-AXLE WORK VEHICLE BASED ON AXLE LOADING
A method for controlling a multi-axle work vehicle based on axle loading may generally include monitoring a load associated with loads transmitted through a pivot pin of a track assembly of the work vehicle, wherein the track assembly is configured to be rotatably coupled to an engine of the work vehicle via an axle assembly. In addition, the method may include estimating an axle load applied through the axle assembly based on the monitored load and providing a control output for the work vehicle based on the estimated axle load
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SPEED OF A TRACK-DRIVEN WORK VEHICLE BASED ON MONITORED LOADS TO AVOID TRACK OVERHEATING
A method for automatically controlling vehicle speeds of a track-based work vehicle may include monitoring, with a computing device, a load transmitted through a pivot pin of a track assembly of the work vehicle and determining, with the computing device, a speed limit setting for the work vehicle based on the monitored load, wherein the speed limit setting is associated with maintaining an operating temperature of a track of the track assembly below a predetermined temperature threshold. In addition, the method may include automatically limiting, with the computing device, a vehicle speed of the work vehicle based on the determined speed limit setting.
Vehicle with non-symmetrical drive members
A vehicle having a long track or wheel-trail wheel combination on one side and a smaller ground engaging member, such as a short track or wheel on the other. The vehicle has a work attachment on one end of its frame, which is provided clearance on the side of the vehicle with the short track or wheel. A control system is provided to allow an operator to properly control a direction of the vehicle despite the fact that different forces may be required to operate the long track and the short track or wheel.
