Display device for shovel displaying left and right mirror images and shovel including same
A shovel includes a lower traveling body, an upper turning body turnably mounted on the lower traveling body, a cab installed on the upper turning body, a display device installed in the cab, and image capturing devices attached to the upper turning body. The display device is configured to simultaneously display a left mirror image and a right mirror image generated based on an image captured by at least one of the image capturing devices. The left mirror image is an image corresponding to a mirror image in a left mirror attached to the left front end of the shovel. The right mirror image is an image corresponding to a mirror image in a right mirror attached to the right front end of the shovel.

WORKING MACHINE
A working machine includes: a lower traveling body; an upper slewing body; a cab; a display device; and a detector. The upper slewing body is slewably mounted on the lower traveling body. The cab is mounted on the upper slewing body. The cab include: a front wall having a front window; a pair of left and right front pillars extending in an up-down direction respectively along left and right sides of the front window; and a pair of left and right side walls extending reward respectively from the left and right front pillars. The display device is disposed in a corner defined between one of the left and right side walls and the front wall in the cab while being fixedly attached to the one side wall or the front wall for displaying predetermined information. The detector is fixedly connected to the display device.
HVAC AIR RETRIEVAL SYSTEM FOR WORK MACHINE
A work machine, such as a skid steer loader or a compact track loader, includes an air intake assembly for a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) unit. A conduit integrated into a structure supporting a roof over an operator cab accepts air and water from the atmosphere through an air inlet proximate the roof. A debris outlet downstream in the conduit allows gravity to return the water to the environment. Between the air inlet and the debris outlet, an orifice in the conduit connects to an air duct through which the air may be diverted by suction from the HVAC unit. An air filter at the end of the air duct removes remaining particulates from the air prior to conditioning by the HVAC unit. Sizing the cross-sectional areas of the air path to exceed a cross-sectional area of an inlet to the air filter and providing a substantially straight air path avoids resistance to air flow, resulting in efficient intake of cleaner air.

WORK MACHINE WITH DIRECTIONAL AIR INTAKE ASSEMBLY
A work machine, such as a skid steer loader or a compact track loader, includes a directional air intake assembly with a directional cap positioned on an intake pipe for selectively drawing ambient air into an internal combustion engine. A cooling vent ejects air heated by a rear-mounted engine upwardly into the atmosphere. Extending higher than and adjacent to the cooling vent, the directional cap has an elongated head that blocks ingress to the intake pipe other than through an opening at a face of the cap. Selectively positioning and angling the opening between a side of the loader and an edge of the cooling vent avoids taking in debris from near the wheels or tracks, avoids taking in heated air from the cooling vent, and takes advantage of negative pressure caused by the updraft from the cooling vent to remove particulates, resulting in cleaner air for the engine at close to ambient temperature.
Protective shields
Protective shields configured to prevent projection against projectiles, such as during excavating and/or mining operations, are provided. The protective shields include a base layer comprising one or more transparent polycarbonate layers, a sacrificial polycarbonate layer comprising a transparent polycarbonate, and an air gap positioned directly between at least a portion of the base layer and the sacrificial polycarbonate layer. The sacrificial polycarbonate layer is directly or indirectly attached to the base layer in a manner to provide the air gap positioned between the base layer and the sacrificial polycarbonate layer.
Remote operation device for construction machine
A remote operation device includes an image generating section that generates, when an operation determining section determines that an operation by an operator is a fine operation, and a posture determining section determines that a posture of the operator has changed from a reference posture to a watching posture, an enlarged image by enlarging a part of a work image of a construction machine, the part being related to a line-of-sight position acquired by an eye tracking device, and causes a display device to display the enlarged image.
