Handheld Excavator
20220018086 · 2022-01-20 ·

The present invention relates to a handheld excavator. The handheld excavator is used for excavating small areas and spaces that are unreachable with a standard excavator. The handheld excavator does not have an operator's seat and can have a four-legged stand, a wheeled stand, or a wall-mounted attachment. The excavator has a 180 degree rotational platform positioned on the stand, a boom extending from the platform, an arm attached to a first end of the boom, and a bucket. The linear and rotational movements of the excavator are controlled by a detachable control panel for remotely operating the handheld excavator. The handheld excavator is powered through built-in batteries and has a hydraulic mechanism for driving the movements.

A cover mounting bracket (16) is provided on an upper side of a left weight part (11) and a right weight part (12) constituting a counterweight (10). The cover mounting bracket (16) is formed as a U-shaped frame with the counterweight (10) side open by a left extending member (17) extending forward from the upper side of the left weight part (11), a right extending member (18) extending forward from the upper side of the right weight part (12), and a connecting member (19) connecting the front side of the left extending member (17) and the front side of the right extending member (18). A prime mover cover (28) is supported on the connecting member (19) of the cover mounting bracket (16) rotatably in a vertical direction through a hinge (31). The prime mover cover (28) is moved between an open position where an inspection opening (15) of the counterweight (10) is opened and a closed position where the inspection opening (15) is closed around the hinge (31).

Construction machine

A construction machine improves ease of assembly of travelling body weights installed in a truck frame and allows a worker to easily move between one pair of side frames through the travelling body weights. The construction machine includes a lower travelling body of a crane includes a truck frame, a left side frame and a right side frame, and a front weight and a rear weight. The front weight and the rear weight each include a lower weight and an upper weight. An upper surface part of the upper weight extends continuously along a left and right direction, and a moving passage is formed between the one pair of side frames.

COUNTERWEIGHT REMOVAL PROTECTION SYSTEM
20210317633 · 2021-10-14 ·

A counterweight removal protection system and a method of controlling removal of the counterweight to avoid damage to an imaging sensor system of a work vehicle, such as an excavator. The imaging sensor system includes an imaging sensor supported by the counterweight and configured to transmit an imaging sensor signal to a vehicle controller to determine the state of the imaging sensor signal. A user interface in the work vehicle includes a selectable touch button to enable removal of the counterweight depending on the state of the imaging sensor signal. An interlock device prevents lowering the counterweight based on the state of the imaging sensor signal. In one embodiment, the imaging sensor signal is a heartbeat signal.
