METHODS AND INTERNET OF THINGS (IOT) SYSTEMS FOR MANAGING PUBLIC WATER IN SMART CITY
The present disclosure provides a method and system for managing public water in a smart city. The method may be performed by an urban public water management platform. The method may include: obtaining initial rainwater data in at least one area, the initial rainwater data may include rainfall data and rainwater collection data of at least one rainwater collection system, each of the at least one rainwater collection systems corresponding to at least one rainwater collection mode; determining the amount of purified rainwater during a first period corresponding to the at least one rainwater collection mode according to the initial rainwater data in the at least one area; and determining a rainwater storage plan during a second period based on the amount of purified rainwater during the first period corresponding to the at least one rainwater collection mode.
ARTIFICIAL RAIN TO SUPPORT WATER FLOODING IN REMOTE OIL FIELDS
Systems and methods for supplying water to a hydrocarbon-containing formation may include generating artificial rain in the proximity of the formation and collecting the artificial rain in one or more collectors. Following collection, the artificial rain may be transferred from the one or more collectors to an underground water reservoir. The artificial rain may then be combined with an aqueous fluid to give a wellbore fluid, which may then be transferred or injected into the wellbore.

A VORTEX INDUCING DEVICE AND A METHOD OF USE THEREOF FOR CONCENTRATING SEDIMENT IN A WATER TANK
A method of concentrating sediment in a water tank involves attaching a vortex inducing device to an opening through the roof of the tank between the central vertical axis and the side walling of the tank. The device has a device inlet which narrows to a device outlet. The device outlet is orientated such that, water flowing out via the device outlet induces a vortex within the pooled water, thereby causing sediment to collect centrally on the floor of the tank.

System for accumulating rain water
It is disclosed a system for accumulating rain water. The system may include: a water-proof foldable collector; a suspension unit; and at least one water accumulator. The suspension unit may be configured to be attached to one anchoring object at at least two attachment locations, wherein when the system is deployed, one of the at least two attachment locations is higher from ground than the at least another attachment location and suspend the collector at a position so as to collect rain water.

System of filtering runoff water from a roof cleaning
A system of filtering runoff water from a roof cleaning is used to remove contaminants from water that has been used for rooftop cleaning. The system is also configured to gather water noninvasively from downspouts or topographically low points upon the roof. The system of filtering runoff water from a roof cleaning utilizes a pump that is connected to a large bin for filtration. The pump is placed at a low point upon the rooftop, thus enabling optimal water collection for subsequent pumping. The bin contains a disposable filter through which pumped water may pass, either through force from the pump pressure or due to the effects of gravity. Clean water is then ejected from the bin, or otherwise guided to an appropriate drainage area. This arrangement allows for easy maintenance, as a rooftop cleaner need only to swap out the old filter for a new one after cleaning.
