Method for operating a water system (10). The water system (10) comprises a fresh water subsystem (11) being configured to provide fresh water to water consumers (13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 19), wherein first water consumers (13, 14) generate black water as waste water, and wherein second water consumers (15, 16, 17, 18, 19) generate grey water as waste water. The water system (10) comprises a waste water subsystem (12) being configured to receive the waste water from the water consumers (13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 19). The waste water sub system (12) comprises a waste water diverter (23) being configured to provide in a black water status of the waste water diverter (23) waste water to a drain (24) thereby treating waste water as black water, and provide in a grey water status of the waste water diverter (23) waste water to a grey water tank (22) thereby treating waste water as grey water. The method comprises the following steps: Detect by a fresh water controller (26) being installed in the fresh water subsystem (11) a fresh water consumption in the fresh water subsystem (11) and provide a respective first output signal to a grey water controller (25). Determine by the grey water controller (25) on basis of the first output signal provided by the fresh water controller (26) a control signal for the waste water diverter (23) to switch the same either into the black water status or into the grey water status.

The present disclosure provides a water heating system for efficient heating of water for immediate use that fits either to industrial applications or household applications. The water heating system is suitable to be combined with a solar heating unit and it can be operated on electric power or on gas-based heating units for providing hot water to multiple consumers for household or industrial utilization. Furthermore, the system can be stand-alone, operating without any additional water heating system and can provide an immediate stream of hot water, e.g. it can be installed within a water supplying appliance. The water can operate in two modes: (1) heating for immediate use of hot water; and (2) heating water to be contained in a reservoir for later use. The system uses a two (bi) directional flow valve.

The technical effect—the size is reduced and the structure of the device is simplified due to minimizing the number of transition and connecting parts, while simultaneous improving the conditions for the monitor and control of water supply modes from one work place—from the commutator, which is the set of equipment for the device control automation in general.

A domestic pipe system for delivery of hot water includes hot water source (10) and a piping to a faucet (12). The piping comprises a splitter (14), two pipes (20, 22) and a controller (16), the controller having a housing, first and second inlets (24, 26), an outlet (28), and a thermally actuated valve. The first inlet is a permanently open inlet whereas the second inlet is opened depending on the temperature of water arriving at the controller. Stagnant water that cooled down only runs through the first pipe (20) until the temperature exceeds a preset threshold. Than the controller (16) opens the second inlet such that the stagnant cold water from the second pipe can be mixed gradually with the hot water from the first pipe. Thus, the user receives warm water earlier than if both pipes need to be emptied.

A system and method of providing a high temperature hot water system assembly including a direct buried valve box that connects to one or more underground service pipes is disclosed. The buried valve box contains a valve assembly configured to control the flow of water through the one or more service pipes. An air gap within the valve box allows for movement and expansion of the components as the temperatures rise, preventing cracking or other failures. A bypass valve is also provided within the buried valve box, allowing for a small amount of hot water to flow through the service pipes to gradually increase the temperature. The direct buried valve boxes, controllable through valve risers that terminate in surface assembly boxes, eliminate the need for large, concrete underground vaults that make maintenance and operation of valve assemblies more difficult.
