System and method for infrastructure and asset management
A method and system for measuring, controlling, and recording flushing of a water distribution system (WDS) comprising each portion or subject WDS piping, by measuring, controlling and recording the selected flow rate ranges of water into and out of. The selected volume of water utilized into and out of the WDS piping can then be measured, controlled and recorded. The flow rate and volume of water into and out of the WDS piping can then be selected for each maintenance event protocol and used to determine the condition of the WDS.

Flow control device
A system for preventing freeze-induced rupture of a supply pipe is provided, comprising remote and internal temperature sensors for determining first and second temperature data, a flow control device for attachment to the supply pipe. The flow control device comprises an upstream inlet configured to be connected to the supply pipe, a downstream outlet configured to be connected to a drainage pipe, at least one valve disposed between the inlet and the outlet and configured to selectively move between a closed position in which liquid is blocked from flowing therethrough and an open position in which flow of liquid is permitted therethrough, and at least one flow control component configured to limit the flow rate of liquid therethrough. The system further comprises a controller configured to control operation of the at least one valve based at least on one of the first temperature data or the second temperature data.

BACNET CONVERSION OF WATER MANAGEMENT DATA FOR BUILDING MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS
Methods and systems of monitoring and managing a facility including a plurality of end point devices. One system includes a first gateway device. The first gateway device includes a first electronic processor configured to receive fixture data from at least one electro-mechanical element of a fixture associated with the facility, the fixture data related to an operation of the fixture, and enable transmission of the fixture data to a remote device for virtual processing. The system also includes a second gateway device communicatively coupled with the first gateway device. The second gateway device includes a second electronic processor configured to receive, from the first gateway device, the processed fixture data. The second electronic processor configured to convert the processed fixture data pursuant to a networking protocol associated with a building management system and transmit the converted fixture data for display via a visual dashboard associated with the building management system.
PLUMBING DISTRIBUTION AND CONTROL PANEL SYSTEM
A plumbing distribution and control panel system is provided. The plumbing distribution and control panel system has a main control panel unit having an interior. A portion of each of a plurality of pipes of a residence or commercial building may pass through the control panel to various zones of the building such as, for example, a water heater or tankless heater, a kitchen, a bathroom, a utility room, a laundry room, a basement, an exterior unit, or a mechanical room of a commercial building. The main control panel may allow a user to control the flow of water through the pipes in those zones. The main control panel allows for the easy cut-off of flowing water which may prevent damage to the residence or commercial building. A wireless system may also allow a user to wirelessly control the flow of water through the pipes.

Leak detection method and apparatus
A method for testing for a possible water leak in at least a part of a water system, comprising: closing all known water usage taps (42) within the part of the water system to be tested; closing at least one stop cock (14) or valve of the water system to isolate the part of the water system from its replacement water source (12) (or sources), and any external replacement pressure source (or sources); and then a) detecting a first pressure P0 within the isolated part of the water system at a sensor (62, 48) connected to the part of the water system, waiting a period of time t and then detecting a second pressure within the isolated part of the water system at that sensor (62, 48); and b) releasing a volume of water VR from the water system out of the isolated part of the water system via a vent (42) in the isolated part of the water system, before then closing the vent (42), step b) further comprising detecting the pressures either side of that release at that sensor (62, 48); using the pressure drop caused by the approximately known or measured volume of water VR to enable an estimate of the relationship between change in pressure in the system and the volume of water released to be established, and based on the relationship between the change in pressure and the known release volume, calculating an estimate of the actual volume of the unknown water loss volume V.sub.L based upon the recorded pressure loss in the system in the known period of time t.
