BACKFLOW PREVENTION ASSEMBLY WITH A LINKAGE
A check valve for a backflow prevention assembly includes a linkage with a platform having a proximal end and a distal end and a first coupling member supported by the platform for engaging a bias assembly. A stop protrudes from the proximal end of the platform to engage a frame of the check valve for limiting travel of the platform. A branch depends from the proximal end of the platform, the branch having a hinge pin configured to nest in a slot defined by check valve. A second coupling member depends from the distal end of the platform for engaging a valve member.
LIQUID RECOVERY SYSTEM, LIQUID SUPPLY SYSTEM, AND PRESSURE REGULATING METHOD
A ultrapure water supply system 10 includes a pure water tank 16 provided vertically below a use point 30, a return pipe 32 through which ultrapure water is returned from the use point 30 to the pure water tank 16, a first pressure regulating valve 40 that is provided at a first position H1 of the return pipe 32 and adjusts a first pressure upstream of the first position H1 and a second pressure regulating valve 42 that is provided at a second position H2 downstream of the first position H1 and vertically below the first position H1 of the return pipe 32 and adjusts a second pressure downstream of the first position H1 and upstream of the second position H2.
External water-purifying filter case, installation structure thereof and sterilizing method using the same
An installation structure of an external filter case for a refrigerator is provided. The filter case may include a main body that provides an inner space in which an internal line may be installed and water filters may be installed, and a cover that covers the inner space of the main body and is detachably coupled with the main body. The main body may have an open front side and may include bosses that protrude from its bottom face. The cover may include insertion holes into which the bosses may be inserted. A lower portion of the main body may be coupled with a lower portion of the cover. Magnets may be installed in upper portions of the main body and the cover, respectively, such that the main body and the cover may be coupled with each other by a magnetic force.
Water management, metering, leak detection, water analytics and remote shutoff system
A water management system effective for managing and metering water usage and detecting and reducing water leaks is described herein. The water management system can detect a leak when a volume of water flow or change in water pressure detected by a water meter of the system is uncharacteristic for a given day and time of day at the node. Upon detecting the leak, the system alerts the user, and in some situations, remotely shuts off a water supply to preemptively address a water leakage issue.
Fluid usage monitoring and control system
In a method of monitoring fluid usage in a fluid system, a proportional control valve is provided, including a valve element operable to control fluid flow from a fluid source to the fluid system. A first pressure upstream of the valve element and a second pressure downstream of the valve element are measured to identify a pressure differential across the valve element. In response to the identified pressure differential, the valve element is adjusted to one of a plurality of flow positions to adjust the pressure differential across the valve element to substantially match a predetermined pressure differential. A flow rate through the proportional control valve is determined based on the first pressure, the second pressure, and the adjusted flow position of the valve element. Based on the determined flow rate over time, an amount of fluid usage in the fluid system is determined.
Adjustable Pit Extension Assembly Gusseted Ring
A meter pit tile extension assembly is provided. The meter pit tile extension assembly includes an inner ring and an outer ring. The outer ring is telescopingly positioned over, and movable with respect to, the inner ring. The outer ring includes a rim located at an outer periphery of a bore disposed through the outer ring. The outer ring includes at least one gusset, at least a portion of which is located adjacent the rim.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR THE AUTOMATIC MANAGEMENT OF WASTEWATER AND FRESHWATER FOR RECREATIONAL VEHICLES
A system for the automatic management of the wastewater and freshwater for recreational vehicles is disclosed. The system includes a plurality of sensors configured for monitoring a first volume of blackwater within a blackwater holding tank, a second volume of greywater within a greywater holding tank, and whether an egress conduit is attached to a sewage system. The system further includes a processor configured for receiving a plurality of first signals from the plurality of sensors and sending a plurality of second signals to at least one of a plurality of values within the system. The processor is configured for determining if the first volume and second volume exceeds a first predetermined maximum threshold and a second predetermined maximum threshold respectively, then transmitting one of the plurality of second signals to prevent matter and wastewater from entering at least one of the blackwater holding tank and greywater holding tank.
Monitoring system for detecting leaks using a system of flow rate sensors and smart valves
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a storage device, for detecting water leaks and mitigating the damage caused by the detected leaks. The system may include a processor and a storage device storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations. The operations may include obtaining sensor data that is generated by one or more flow rate sensors located at a property, obtaining status data that is generated by one or more connected water shutoff valves located at the property, determining, based on (i) the obtained sensor data and (ii) the obtained status data whether a water leak has been detected at the property, and in response to determining, based on (i) the obtained sensor data and (ii) the obtained status data, that a water leak has been detected at the property, initiating performance of one or more water damage mitigation operations.
