Sensor conduit support structure
A sensor assembly includes a sensor unit including a generally rigid sensor housing and at least one electronic sensor component, a conduit coupled with the sensor unit and extending away from the sensor housing, and a rigid support structure supporting a portion of at least one of the conduit or the sensor housing at a first end adjacent the sensor unit and extending away from the sensor unit to a length of at least about 6 feet. The rigid support structure configured to maintain the sensor unit within an internal structure for monitoring using the electronic sensor component.
MODULAR TWO-PART SILLCOCK
A two-part sillcock includes interior and exterior sillcock members selectively coupled to actuate a valve that controls fluid flow to a faucet. The interior sillcock member includes a flanged housing having an inlet, an outlet, and a valve with a stem including a coupling at the outlet end. The coupling is supported within the housing by an adapter adjacent the outlet end. The exterior sillcock member includes a flanged faucet including a handle shaft with a coupling at the inlet end. An adapter adjacent the housing outlet supports the valve stem coupling and guides and receives the faucet handle shaft coupling for engagement of the couplings. When the exterior and interior sillcock flanges are connected, the faucet handle shaft coupling is connected with the valve stem coupling, so that movement of the handle controls operation of the valve. A dual two-part sillcock includes two sillcocks connected by a mixing assembly.
Sillcock for robust re-installation
The present invention pertains to problems associated with the installation of new sillcocks in existing masonry or other building materials. A sillcock, or hose bib having broader base plate is provided to prevent collapse especially in older or damaged building materials and to minimize damage to new installations.
Leak detector
A leak detector includes a sensor assembly including at least one sensor configured to sense acoustic signals; and at least one printed circuit board coupled to the sensor assembly and configured to support a processing device, the processing device comprising at least a microcontroller unit (MCU) and a digital signal processor (DSP), wherein the MCU is configured to continually receive acoustic signals from the sensor assembly, and wherein the DSP is configured to remain in a sleep mode except when the MCU wakes the DSP from the sleep mode at predetermined times.
