CONTAINER FOR A WASTE HEAT UTILIZATION CIRCUIT
A container for a waste heat utilization circuit may include a housing that defines a housing interior such that the housing interior can be flowed through by a working medium. A sheath may be arranged in the housing interior for accommodating an auxiliary medium. The sheath may be fluid-tight and heat-conductive at least in certain areas. The sheath may define a sheath interior of variable volume.
Frame for divided water tank
A tank has a circumferential wall defined by a plurality of separate elements in the form of vertical staves. Adjacent elements are shaped so that they are squeezed together to prevent leakage past adjacent elements. Hoops surround the wall elements. One hoop is a plurality of segments. Truss rods connect separate elements of the hoop to a support inside the tank. The truss rods of the hoop connect the hoop segments to the inside support in the tank and are tightened thereto for drawing the hoop wall elements inward to the truss rod supports, squeezing the adjacent wall elements together for preventing leakage between adjacent elements. A divider across the tank has the supports thereon for receiving the ends of the truss rods in the tank. Other staves define a divider of staves. Vertical beams support them.
Underground stormwater storage system
A system and method for an underground stormwater storage system which may comprise a pit, a structure, and a liner. The structure may be disposed within the center of the pit and surround by the porous backfill and wherein outlets are disposed on the crown of the structure. A liner may form the outer layer of the pit. A method for releasing stormwater may comprise capturing stormwater from a surface, containing the stormwater within a structure, releasing a volume of the stormwater from the structure and draining an additional volume of the stormwater from the crown of the structure from an outlet when the structure is capturing more stormwater than it is releasing.
THROUGH WALL CONNECTOR FOR A MULTI-CHAMBER PRESSURE VESSEL
A gas and liquid-tight inlet connector to the inner chamber of a mufti-chamber pressure vessel is provided, comprising: a male gland extending through an orifice in the bottom of the flexible wall of the inner chamber and the lower wall of the rigid outer shell of the vessel, the male gland comprising an upper flange permanently, sealingly connected, with the lower surface of the flexible inner wall, so as to form a gas- and liquid-tight seal therewith, and a lower elongated member extending through the outer shell to be sealingly connected with a liquid inlet pipe, permitting liquid flow into the inner chamber, while maintaining the seal between the inner and outer chambers of the tank, thus maintaining pressurization in the outer chamber, as fluid enters the inner chamber, pushing the flexible wall upwardly into the outer chamber.
UNDERGROUND STORMWATER STORAGE SYSTEM
An underground stormwater storage system. The underground stormwater storage system may comprise a porous backfill, a plurality of solid pipes disposed within the porous backfill, wherein the solid pipes are disposed with a gap between each of the plurality of solid pipes, and an inlet pipe disposed in at least one of the plurality of solid pipes.
