Plumbing service box installation
A plumbing service box assembly is described. The assembly includes a box with a positioning-debris cover configured to be received through an open face of the box and that includes a receiver that engages the plumbing fitting. Engagement with the receiver retains the plumbing fitting orientation and position during installation in a structure. The positioning-debris cover may be retained for aesthetic appearance and/or to resist actuation of the fitting. A trim-piece provides a finished appearance to the installation and retains the positioning-debris cover in position. Top and bottom walls of the box include interchangeable adaptor plates that adapt to various plumbing conduit sizes as well as drain outlets or couplings. A secondary debris cover that encloses the positioning-debris cover within the box and further protects against entry of debris is also provided.

Disclosed is a method for water saving by retrofitting an institutional plumbing fixture having a combination of an integral lavatory basin and a toilet bowel integrally attached thereto by inserting into the fixture a urinal-type collection receptacle having a water inlet opening on its top side and a water outlet opening on its bottom side; and fluidly interposing the receptacle via the inlet and outlet openings between the lavatory drain pipe and the drain trap provided for the plumbing fixture. Also disclosed is an institutional plumbing fixture retrofit for water saving, and a retrofit urinal-type receptacle.

A temporary restroom may form a complete enclosure, including a front wall, a back wall, two sidewalls, a floor, a ceiling, and a door. The front wall, the back wall, the two sidewalls, the floor and the ceiling each includes multiple support members, which together form a frame. Inside the enclosure, the temporary restroom includes a, coupled with a waste drainage pipe, a sink in, coupled with a water pipe and a waste water drainage pipe, and multiple connections for connecting the waste drainage pipe and the waste drainage pipe to waste plumbing, connecting the water pipe to water plumbing, and connecting the temporary restroom to a source of electric power. The temporary restroom does not include a waste storage tank or a built-in source of water.

The urinal may have a drain line engaged with a proximal end of the funnel for conveying urine and rinse water into a sewer line or a toilet bowl and a rinse line coupled with a water supply for rinsing urine therein. The urinal may be movable with the assistance of one or more sensors that may automatically signal other electrical or mechanical components to move one or more portions of the urinal, and may be include elements that seal portions of the urinal when not in use or during cleaning to reduce gas or liquid escaping from the urinal system.

A faucet having a nozzle end is attached to the basin via a keyed member that a) positions the nozzle end over a drain in the basin and b) prevents rotation of the faucet when attached to the basin, the drain leads into the toilet tank. Water is provided to a flexible tube that attaches to a bowl refill tube. The flexible tube extends through the faucet and terminates essentially at the nozzle end.
