The assembly includes an adjustable supply assembly and a diverter valve. The adjustable supply assembly includes an adapter coupleable to the pipe outlet, a supply member having a supply outlet and coupled to the adapter for movement along the axis, and a seal positioned to provide a sealed connection in adjusted positions. The diverter valve includes a valve inlet in fluid communication with the supply outlet, and first and second valve outlets in fluid communication with the first and second shower members, respectively. The shower system is mounted in an enclosure having a wall. The adapter connects to the pipe outlet on one side of the wall, and the diverter valve is located on another side of the wall.
TUB SPOUT ASSEMBLY
A tub spout assembly is configured to be supported within the overflow opening in the sidewall of a bathtub. The tub spout assembly illustratively includes an overflow body defining an overflow passageway, and an inlet tube supported by the overflow body and defining an inlet passageway. A spout is fluidly coupled to the inlet tube and defines a spout outlet to dispense water from the inlet tube into the bathtub. A spout cover illustratively receives the spout and includes an inner wall defining at least one opening. The at least one opening is illustratively in fluid communication with the overflow passageway and the inlet passageway. Illustratively, a diverter assembly is supported by the spout and is configured to selectively open and close fluid communication between the inlet passageway to the spout outlet.
Plumbing Fixture Fluid Diversion Assembly
A plumbing fixture fluid diversion assembly minimizes dripping from an outlet conduit of a spout body by restricting passage of accumulated fluid through the outlet conduit. The assembly comprises a hollow spout body having an inlet conduit that carries fluid to a diversion chamber. The diversion chamber is in communication with the inlet conduit and the outlet conduit. A routing notch helps control the flow of the fluid towards a chamber opening that is disposed between the diversion chamber and the outlet conduit. The chamber opening enables passage of fluid to the outlet conduit. A flap selectively covers and uncovers the chamber opening to control dripping from the outlet conduit. The assembly generates an initial force to at least partially urge the flap towards the chamber opening for covering by pulling a cable, displacing magnet proximal to the flap, or creating a vacuum to displace the flap.
Water conserving shower system and thermochromic fixtures used therein
A water delivery system includes a mixing valve operable for delivering a water flow of adjustable temperature from a water source to a dispensing device downstream from the mixing valve; a thermochromic thermal indicator, fluidly coupled between the mixing valve and the dispensing device, that provides a visible indication of the water flow having achieved a predetermined temperature; and a diverter valve, fluidly coupled between the mixing valve and the dispensing device, and operable to direct the water flow selectively either to the dispensing device or back to the water source. The thermal indicator may be a thermochromic PVC conduit, or it may be a fitting having an inlet, an outlet, a thermochromic PVC element therebetween, and a barrier located between the inlet and the outlet so as to define a flow path that includes an interior surface of the thermochromic element.
MIXER WATER FAUCET
A mixer water faucet for installation through a bore in a work surface in proximity to a water supply, includes a stationary housing extending transversely through the bore; a faucet body mounted onto the housing, rotatable relative thereto; a main spout and an auxiliary spout extending from the housing; a main water supply hose for conveying water to the main spout and an auxiliary water supply hose for conveying water to the auxiliary spout, the main water supply hose and the auxiliary water supply hose extending through the housing; and a diverter for selectably directing a supply of water to the main spout and the auxiliary spout.
Free-Standing Faucet
A free-standing faucet which includes a valve assembly, a spout, an inlet tube set, and a free-standing casing tube, a spray holder, and a spray is revealed. The valve assembly consists of a housing, a mixing valve, and a diverter, and a handle. The housing is composed of a mixing valve chamber in which the mixing valve is mounted, a pipe joint connected to the inlet tube set, a connection portion formed on one side of the pipe joint close to the mixing valve chamber, a first cold water channel, and a first hot water channel. The first hot and cold water channels are formed inside the pipe joint and communicating with the connection portion and the inlet tube set. An adapter is connected to the connection portion and having second cold and hot water channels. Thereby the mixing valve can be assembled and positioned easily, securely and accurately.
APPARATUS AND HANDHELD SHOWER UNIT THEREOF FOR WATER SUPPLY AND SANITARY PURPOSES, E.G. FOR ALLOWING PURIFICATION AND EITHER RECYCLING OF WATER OR DISCARDING OF WATER
The present invention describes an apparatus (1) for water supply and sanitary purposes, e.g. for allowing purification and either recycling of water or discarding of water, wherein the apparatus (1) comprises an on/off unit (2) comprising a battery (3) and a transceiver (4), and wherein the on/off unit (2) is activable by pushing an on/off knob (5) of the on/off unit (2) rendering the transceiver (4) to transmit a wireless signal to a control system to turn the apparatus (1) on respective off. Furthermore, the present invention also relates to an apparatus (1) for water supply and sanitary purposes, wherein the apparatus (1) is a shower device (1) comprising a handheld shower unit (9) having a magnetic valve (8), and also comprising a holder unit (10) for holding the handheld shower unit (9) when not being used, wherein a magnet (11) is arranged in the holder unit (10) or the handheld shower unit (9), and wherein an activation sensor (12) is provided in the holder unit (10) or in the handheld shower unit (9) so that the magnetic valve (8) is turned into an open position when the handheld shower unit (9) is removed from the holder unit (10), and wherein the holder unit (10) holds the magnetic valve (8) in a closed position when the handheld shower unit (9) is held by the holder unit (10) and not being used. Moreover, the present invention is also related to a handheld shower unit (9) for an apparatus (1).
FLUID DELIVERY SYSTEM AND METHOD
In accordance with an embodiment, a fluid delivery system is provided that includes a faucet body having opposing ends spaced apart by a channel and a universal adapter mated to one end of the faucet body and a spout mated to the other end of the faucet body. A diverter is connected to the spout. In accordance with another embodiment, a method for manufacturing a faucet includes providing a faucet having a diverter, wherein the diverter includes a cavity configured for reducing water pressure within the cavity and bonding a protective material to the faucet so that the faucet and the protective material form a unitary structure.
