Toilet tissue spray dispenser and method

A toilet tissue mist with a liquid discharge device for spray application to toilet paper. The liquid dispensed onto the paper in small quantities is for personal cleansing of the human body and results in a cleansing and freshening up of the selected areas. The mist turns the toilet paper into the equivalent of a wet wipe or cloth which would be soothing to sensitive areas. Likewise, the mist is scented and helps freshen up any unwanted odors. The device is portable and compact and may be used on the go as well as being used at home. Likewise, the resulting moistened wipe can be discarded by flushing it down the toilet, just like regular toilet paper. In a preferred embodiment, the device is configured to provide a diameter of mist to the toilet tissue with a dry outline circumscribing it.

Chemical analysis of urine and feces vapor

A gas sensor system is for use in, or in the vicinity of, a toilet, for detecting a target gas. A gas sensor detects a concentration of at least the target gas and a further, reference, gas which is received from a controlled gas release device. These concentrations are processed to obtain a concentration of the target gas relative to the concentration of the further gas by combining a change in the detected concentration of the target gas, a change in the detected concentration of the further gas, the sensitivity of the gas sensor system to the target gas and the sensitivity of the gas sensor system to the further gas. This approach avoids the need for extensive calibration operations to tune the sensor response to the environment in which it is used.

Emanator device
10350323 · 2019-07-16 · ·

An emanator device for emanating an air treatment agent into the surrounding air comprises a housing which contains a solid or liquid source of the air treatment agent, wherein the housing comprises a blister or capsule containing an air treatment agent and a plurality of openings which are sufficiently small that they can be closed by a film or plug of water. For example the openings may be provided by a gauze or mesh. The openings do not inhibit the emanation of air treatment agent released from the blister, but when the emanator device is subject to wet conditions, as may happen in a dishwashing machine, the openings are blocked by a film or plug of water. The air treatment agent does not therefore enter the water, where it may have caused adverse effects, or simply have been wasted. Under dry conditions, however, emanation occurs normally.

Urinal air freshener
10350322 · 2019-07-16 · ·

An automatic dispensing device for volatile fluid operable to apply one or more agent to a local environment for more than 14 days. Preferred devices dispense a first agent for air freshening, and may optionally dispense a second agent, such as a drain cleaner. A workable drain cleaner is structured to permit a slow release of drain cleaning agent. A dispensing device may nonexclusively operate by evaporation of volatile fluid from a polymer or rubber-like carrier material that is infused with the volatile fluid; gravity-induced drip from a bulk supply of volatile fluid through a small orifice onto an emanator; osmotic transfer of volatile fluid from a bulk supply; gas-pump drive of volatile fluid at controlled pressure; or diffusion of volatile fluid through a wall of a container of bulk volatile fluid; and combinations thereof.
