Disclosed are devices, methods, and systems for generating and applying a magnetic field in a toilet. A toilet including a bowl having a discharge outlet, a trapway in fluid communication with the discharge outlet, and at least one magnet configured to generate a magnetic field to alter a flow of liquid through the trapway is described.

A toilet positionable above a floor comprise a toilet base and a foot ledge structure. The toilet base at least partially surrounds a lower portion of a toilet bowl and defines an inner area that at least partially contains the lower portion of the toilet bowl. The foot ledge structure comprises a foot ledge and a base bracket. The foot ledge is elevated above the floor and is movable between a retracted position and an extended position relative to the toilet base. The base bracket is positioned within the inner area of the toilet base and is configured to elevate the foot ledge above the floor. The foot ledge is movably attached to the base bracket. The base bracket is independently attachable to the floor from the toilet base.

A toilet includes a tank, a pedestal, and a mounting assembly. The tank includes a bottom wall. The bottom wall includes an opening and a bottom surface. The pedestal includes an opening and a top surface. The opening of the pedestal is aligned with the opening of the bottom wall. The mounting assembly includes a mounting plate, a nut, and a gasket. The mounting plate is configured to be coupled to the pedestal and includes an opening aligned with the opening of the pedestal. The nut holds the mounting plate against the bottom surface of the bottom wall and includes a rounded portion. The gasket is disposed about the opening of the pedestal and along the top surface of the pedestal and includes a concave surface that is configured for receiving the rounded portion of the nut.

A urine deflector is configured to attach to a toilet seat and is made of a monolithic structure comprising an arcuate top member having a planar top surface integrally formed with an arc shaped projecting portion, the arc shaped projecting portion projecting downwardly from the top member, the projecting portion integrally formed, at each end of the arc shape, with a gravity assist drain portion, each gravity assist drain portion extending from the projecting portion at an angle from 30° to 60° from a plane defined by a top surface of the top member that facilitates directing urine liquid into a toilet bowl when the toilet seat is in either a seated position or an open position.

A urine deflector is configured to attach to a toilet seat and is made of a monolithic structure comprising an arcuate top member having a planar top surface integrally formed with an arc shaped projecting portion, the arc shaped projecting portion projecting downwardly from the top member, the projecting portion integrally formed, at each end of the arc shape, with a gravity assist drain portion, each gravity assist drain portion extending from the projecting portion at an angle from 30° to 60° from a plane defined by a top surface of the top member that facilitates directing urine liquid into a toilet bowl when the toilet seat is in either a seated position or an open position.

An analytical toilet is disclosed, having a bowl for receiving excreta supported by a base. The toilet also includes a pressure sensor mounting fixture, which has: a chamber with an outlet. The chamber is in fluid communication with the contents of the bowl through the outlet. The pressure sensor mounting fixture also has a pressure sensor cavity above the chamber having an inlet in fluid communication with the chamber such that an air bubble is maintained in the pressure sensor cavity. A pressure sensor is included that is adapted to measure the pressure in the pressure sensor cavity. Also, a system is disclosed for measuring changes in the volume in a toilet bowl. The system includes a pressure sensor mounting fixture, having a chamber with an outlet. The chamber is in fluid communication with the contents of the bowl through the outlet. The pressure sensor mounting fixture also has a pressure sensor cavity above the chamber having an inlet in fluid communication with the chamber such that an air bubble is maintained in the pressure sensor cavity. A pressure sensor is included that is adapted to measure the pressure in the pressure sensor cavity.

A flush toilet includes a bowl including a waste receiving surface, a rim and a well portion; a water spouting part that spouts flush water toward the bowl; and a water discharge trap including an inlet connected to a lower part of the well portion, the water discharge trap discharging waste in the bowl, the well portion includes a bottom wall formed above and in front of the inlet of the water discharge trap, a side wall formed to surround a periphery of the bottom wall, and a joining portion that joins an outer edge of the bottom wall and a bottom edge of the side wall with a surface having a curvature, and the bottom wall of the well portion includes a concave portion formed to recess downward on left and right sides with respect to a center axis in a left-right direction in a front sectional view.

An analytical toilet is disclosed having at least one health and wellness sensor and a base supporting a bowl. A removable access panel is removably attached to the base. A space is provided between the base and the toilet, which is adapted to contain the at least one health and wellness sensor.
