A drain or sump box features a combination of a housing, a pump, a float switch and a deodorant bar retainer. The housing may include a housing floor and a wall structure attached thereto and configured to receive and contain waste water. The pump is arranged in the housing to respond to signaling for pumping the waste water from the housing. The float switch is arranged in the housing to sense the level of the waste water and provide the signaling to turn the pump on when the waste water exceeds a certain level. The deodorant bar retainer is arranged in the housing in the housing to receive and retain a deodorant bar for preventing, reducing or masking waste water odor and associated bacteria causing the waste water odor.

A hose liner is provided for preventing contamination of a hose. The liner includes an intermediate section with a passageway therethrough. The intermediate section extends through the length of the hose to line an interior surface of the hose. The liner also includes a first end section extending from a first end of the intermediate section. Further, the present teachings relate to a system 10 including a housing associated with a toilet 22, the housing including a valve and a macerator pumping arrangement 34 including a macerator 34a and a pump 34b that work independently from one another, the macerator 34a including a plurality of macerating knives 37 driven by a first motor 35a, the pump 34b providing positive pressure, the macerator pumping arrangement 34 is operative in a macerating mode and a pumping mode, such that the first motor 35a first drives the macerating knives 37 to macerate the waste and subsequently, the pump 34b pumps the waste out of the housing 34a.

The T-head coupler is intended to perform a cleaning-in-place of a blackwater tank inside a recreational vehicle, using a mixture of water and a cleaning agent. To accomplish this, the device includes a unique arrangement of ports and distribution channels, wherein the ports on the device are designed specifically to couple with ports commonly found in RVs and water sources. In addition, a container filled with a cleaning agent is attached to the bottom port on the device. When all attachments are made, a plurality of channels within the device direct incoming water to the container. The water mixes with the cleaning agent inside the container, forming a cleaning solution. The cleaning solution flows out of the device, using the pressure from the water source. The cleaning solution then flows from the RV port and into the blackwater tank, thereby cleaning the tank.

A portable toilet for use in restricted areas or subsequent to natural disaster. The toilet provides a temporary container for noxious products, such as human waste. One embodiment includes a bucket, a valve, and a removable fluid-tight lid. One or more legs space the bucket from the ground, and provide clearance for the valve. A toilet seat or other load bearing arrangement permits deposits into the container. The fluid-tight lid resists escape of noxious contents during transport of the toilet. The contents of a portable toilet may be discharged through the valve into a permanent toilet, RV dump station, or other suitable receptacle. Certain embodiments include provision for a closed-system, clean-in-place wash-down.

An intermittent fluid delivery system includes a fill tank and a batch tank which is connected to the fill tank via a first pump and a first hose. The fill tank holds a first quantity of fluid. The batch tank holds a second quantity of fluid, which is lesser than the first quantity. The first pump delivers fluid from the fill tank to the batch tank. A second pump delivers fluid from the batch tank to a receiving tank.

A method of discharge and a debris catching device for connection to a discharge pipe of a tank of a septic truck where the device includes a fitting to connect to the pipe and an exposed catcher connected to the fitting such that the catcher has fingers in a spaced relation from an output port of the fitting. The fingers span in spaced relation to each other and allow septage expelled from the fitting to pass through the catcher and onto a field where the truck is moving forward.
