Vaults, boxes, systems, and methods of treatment systems to capture pollutants from storm water runoff and prevent the conveyance of these pollutants from entering a receiving water body or landscape area, which is designed to be a part of a local permanent storm water drainage infrastructure. A single treatment box, vault and system combines both drainage conveyance, multi-level treatment techniques, variable hydraulic capabilities, and easy and inexpensive methods for servicing the system. A flow spreader having a triangular shape with straight sides, or concave sides or convex sides can split incoming water to pass into dual screen filtration systems. Additionally, an upwardly angled debris ramp above a downwardly angled screened defector can be located on both sides of the flow spreader to help direct debris and trash into dual screened boxes. The system can also include components selected from a shelf beneath the spreader, at least one baffle, skimmer, deflectors, media filtration and hydroslide water pressure lines with spray heads for cleaning debris on a sloped floor.

FLOOR DRAIN/CLEANOUT PROTECTOR

Certain embodiments provide a method of installing a floor drain/cleanout. The method generally includes positioning a drain/cleanout body comprising a first opening for receiving a finish drain/cleanout, disposing, on the drain/cleanout body, a cover base of a drain/cleanout cover assembly comprising a second opening for receiving the finish drain/cleanout, threading the finish drain/cleanout through the first opening and the second opening to retain the cover base on the drain/cleanout body, engaging an upper portion of the drain/cleanout cover assembly with the cover base of the drain/cleanout cover assembly, wherein engaging the upper portion with the cover base defines an enclosed void space above the finish drain/cleanout, installing a flooring material around at least the upper portion; removing the upper portion of the drain/cleanout cover assembly from the cover base of the drain/cleanout cover assembly to expose the void space, and positioning the finish drain/cleanout at a desired height.

TILE FLOOR DRAIN
20230035222 · 2023-02-02 ·

A tile drain and method of installing a tile drain is provided. The tile drain includes a drain body and a drain cover. The drain body defines a top opening, top weep apertures, and bottom weep apertures. The top opening receives the drain cover and serves as the primary drain for the tile drain. The top weep apertures are positioned below a top layer, such as a tile layer, of the base so as to receive fluid positioned between the top layer and a top waterproofing layer of the base. The sub weep apertures are positioned below the top waterproofing layer of the base so as to receive fluid positioned between the top waterproofing layer and a bottom waterproofing layer of the base. The drain body is encapsulated within the base, but the drain cover is adjustable relative to, and removable from, the drain body.

OIL CONTAINMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD
20220349169 · 2022-11-03 ·

An oil containment system and installation method for a transformer mounted on a transformer pad, comprising a plurality of interlocking open-topped containment units. Each of the containment units having a base, a sump formed with two vertically-aligned sidewalls, a first end, and a second end. The sidewalls have support struts extending across the sump and a grate member. At least one of the ends includes a connecting member or a receiving member, the connecting member sized to be placed within the receiving member sized to interlock adjacent containment units. A discriminative outlet is disposed within an opening in the sidewall and includes a filtration media for adsorbing oil from a fluid and subsequently blocking oil flow through the discriminative outlet. The interlocking containment units are secured to the transformer pad around a peripheral edge to restrict the migration of oil to an outside portion of said oil containment system.

STORMWATER COLLECTION AND TREATMENT SYSTEM
20220349170 · 2022-11-03 ·

The present invention discloses the stormwater source filtration system in which the treatment location is at the first point of water collection, as close to the source of contamination as possible. This provides for a modular, flexible, linear treatment system that can adapt to the existing conditions and the existing roadway profiles. Like our road systems, this is linear and can change with the roadway. This system provides for increased storage capacity immediately adjacent to the roadway. Modular and flexible construction make this system of superior cost effectiveness versus the current filtration systems used today. The ease of maintenance and ability to quickly change the filtration media as needed will reduce long term maintenance costs versus current systems. The disclosed system may be installed in both new constructions and as an enhancement/retrofit of existing systems.

Drains and methods for providing a centered drain opening without moving a drain outlet
11613883 · 2023-03-28 ·

A linear drain for providing a centered drain opening without moving a drain outlet is disclosed. The linear drain includes an ingress assembly defining at least one ingress opening. An egress assembly defines a channel configured to covey liquid to an egress opening. The egress opening is offset from a channel midpoint of the channel and is configured to be in communication with the drain outlet. An attaching element connects the ingress assembly with the egress assembly. The attaching element is configured such that an ingress assembly midpoint of the ingress assembly is configured to be positioned in a plurality of different final locations relative to the egress opening when the centered drain is in a fully assembled configuration.
