Anti-rat valve and flap therefor
An anti-rat flap member for sewer/draining pipe check is removably attached to the valve body. The valve body defines an interior volume therein which is preferably substantially open and unobstructed (except for the flap member). The flap member acts both as a seal to prevent the back-flow of sewage/drainage water and is normally in a closed position to prevent the passage of rats. The flap member comprises a row of sharp projections attached by known means (such as integrally molded, glued, rivetted or screwed) to the outermost side of the flap member facing the downstream section of the valve. The projections must be at an angle to the surface of the sheet, preferably at an angle which will prevent the rodent from gnawing and biting or even lifting the flap member with their mouth.
Pipe covering
A pipe covering assembly covers a gap defined between an exterior surface of a pipe and an opening in a wall through which the pipe extends. The pipe covering assembly includes a substrate layer having a through-hole for receiving the pipe, a front surface and a rear surface. A mesh material layer is either attached to or contained within the substrate layer. An adhesive layer is directly applied to the rear surface of the substrate layer, wherein the adhesive layer includes an adhesive that is configured to be applied to the wall and the pipe. A plurality of concentric rings are either printed on the front surface of the substrate layer or disposed on a layer that is applied to the front surface of the substrate layer, each ring of the concentric ring corresponding to a pre-determined pipe diameter.

DRAIN CONTROL INSECT ABATEMENT METHODS, DEVICES AND SYSTEMS
Insect blocking devices having floats and flappers to prevent insect access to standing water in traps. A device for insertion into a trap having a float that seals the trap from insects, when in-flow water is not present, and opens as a result of in-flow water, to permit in-flow water to pass and enter the trap.

SYSTEM TO DETER RODENTS FROM ACCESSING A PIPE SYSTEM
A rodent deterrent system for a pipe system, the pipe system including a T-junction and a midsection riser. The deterrent system for the T-junction includes a first mesh screen configured to surround a vertical portion of the T-junction and a second mesh screen configured to surround a horizontal portion of the T-junction. Also, the deterrent system for a perforated riser includes a mesh wrap sleeve configured to surround the midsection of the riser. Alternatively, the riser midsection sleeve can be lengthened so that the second mesh is not needed as the lengthened sleeve also performs the same function as the second screen.
DEVICE FOR HOLDING BAIT FOR RODENTS
The invention relates to an apparatus (1) for holding bait (2), in particular bait for rodents, comprising: a housing part (3) that can be inserted into a manhole, in particular a sewer manhole or a cable duct manhole, at least one bait platform (8) arranged in the housing part (3), delimiting at least one passage opening (9) on the bait platform side, through which a rodent can gain access to bait (2) arranged in the housing part (3).
Check valve for downspouts
Methods, systems and devices for a check valve for deterring intrusion into downspouts include a body member having at least a first orifice and are configured to mount on a downspout, where the downspout is adapted to promote fluid flow in a single direction. Pivotably mounted on the body members are various valve members. The mounting arrangement can provide a closed position that substantially occludes the first orifice and a range of open positions when the valve member is pivoted with respect to the body member to open in the flow direction. In addition, at least one additional orifice can be provided in either the body member or the valve member to permit fluid flow irrespective of the position of the valve member.
