Universal drain cuff
A drainage pipe fitting includes a cuff that permits the fitting to be coupled with pipes or fittings of various sizes. The cuff includes a plurality of sloped surfaces. For example, the cuff may include a first set of sloped surfaces and a second set of sloped surfaces on an interior of the cuff for receiving different-sized pipes or fittings on the interior of the cuff. The cuff may also include a third set of sloped surfaces, a fourth set of sloped surfaces, and a fifth set of sloped surfaces on an exterior of the cuff for receiving further pipes or fittings of different sizes on the exterior of the cuff. If desired, the cuff can include more or less sets of sloped surfaces. In some cases the sloped surfaces are arranged on internal and external fins of the cuff.

Combined non-return valve and rat killer
Device in the form of a combined non-return valve and rat killer for internal fitting in a sewer pipe comprising a valve (2), which can swing between an open and a closed position, the valve (2) being able to serve as a seal against possible back-flow (B) and also as a rat killer. The valve (2) is fitted with a projection (2a) on its inner side near its lower end and when swinging down, the blow-impact of the valve with the rat (12) can kill it. The valve (2) is operated by an actuator (7), preferably in the form of a voice-coil linear motor, which is controlled by sensors in the sewer pipe. Due to a continuous flow (A) through the sewer pipe, the device will remain clean and thus functional.

RODENT STOPPER SYSTEM
A rodent stopper system including several embodiments for protecting residential and commercial water pipes from rodent damage. A first embodiment includes a protective sleeve applied to pipes during a manufacturing process. The second embodiment includes an elongated sleeve with a fastener which may be attached to existing pipes in homes and businesses. The third embodiment includes a tape-member configured to be wrapped and installed around a pipe. Each embodiment includes a reinforced mesh which is a rodent-resistant barrier and prevents the pipe from being chewed by a rodent.
FREE-FLOW, ANIMAL BLOCKING DRAIN PIPE END CAP
Disclosed herein is a drain pipe end cap for allowing water and debris effluent flow while acting as a deterrent to animal incursion, with the drain pipe end cap being a single piece construction.
Anti-Vermin Barrier
An apparatus (10; 110) for preventing vermin or rodent (24) access to buildings through drainage conduits. The apparatus (10; 110) comprises: a duct (12) defining a flowpath and a barrier (16; 116) which prevents access to vermin or rodents (24) through the drainage conduit. The barrier (16; 116) includes a protective structure (165) to deter vermin gnawing the through the barrier (16; 116). The barrier (16; 116) is movable between a flowpath closed position in which the flowpath is substantially closed and a flowpath open position in which the flowpath is substantially open. The barrier (16) is biased to the flowpath closed position by a threshold force. As such the barrier (16) is movable to the flowpath open position upon application of a force greater than the threshold force. The threshold force is sufficient to maintain the barrier (16; 116) in the flowpath closed position under its own weight.
