VACUUM-ASSISTED-PUMPING SYSTEM AND METHOD
20180023596 · 2018-01-25 ·

A system for removing a volume of liquid including a pressure-sealed-pump-vessel, at least one liquid-aperture, a liquid-level-control-valve, a liquid-discharge, a sump-pump, a pressure-sealed-suction-vessel, and one or more vessel-connections. The one or more vessel-connections configured to fluidly couple the pressure-sealed-pump-vessel and the pressure-sealed-suction-vessel, in the preferred embodiment. The sump-pump is located within the pressure-sealed-pump-vessel and includes a pump-inlet and a pump-outlet. The pump-inlet fluidly coupled to the liquid-aperture, and the pump-outlet is fluidly coupled to the liquid-discharge. The sump-pump configured to pump the volume of liquid from the pressure-sealed-pump-vessel and from the system via the liquid-discharge to remove the volume of water from a roof surface or other similar horizontal or substantially horizontal surface.

Debris catcher

A method of discharge and a debris catching device for connection to a discharge pipe of a tank of a septic truck where the device includes a fitting to connect to the pipe and an exposed catcher connected to the fitting such that the catcher has fingers in a spaced relation from an output port of the fitting. The fingers span in spaced relation to each other and allow septage expelled from the fitting to pass through the catcher and onto a field where the truck is moving forward.

Dual take off system

A motion-transmitting unit including a reciprocating engine having at least one piston operable for reciprocating motion during operation of the reciprocating engine, and a crankshaft interconnected with the at least one piston to rotate in response to the reciprocating motion of the at least one piston, the crankshaft having a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The motion-transmitting unit further includes a first drive shaft interconnected with the first end of the crankshaft to rotate in response to rotation of the crankshaft and a second drive shaft interconnected with the second end of the crankshaft to rotate in response to rotation of the crankshaft.

Portable restroom system and a noise-reducing and less labor-intensive method for draining portable restrooms
12188219 · 2025-01-07 · ·

A portable restroom system for use in a multilevel building under construction, a noise-reducing and less labor-intensive method for draining the portable restrooms in the inventive system, and a method of remotely controlling the power take-off (PTO) mechanism of a sanitation truck, which powers the truck's vacuum system, are provided. A notable advantage of the present invention is that it allows for the PTO of a sanitation truck to be controlled remotely. This allows the truck's vacuum system to be operated intermittently or only as needed, thereby limiting the high levels of noise from the exhaust airflow, which is disruptive to areas adjacent to the construction site. Another notable advantage of the present invention is that it obviates the need to transport each portable restroom down to a ground level or floor of the building under construction for service (e.g., drainage and cleaning/sanitizing), which saves both time and labor.

Sewer cleaning system with water treatment system

A sewer cleaning system includes a water tank, a pump operatively coupled to the water tank, a water hose operatively coupled to the pump, a vacuum-generating system, a vacuum hose operatively coupled to the vacuum-generating system, and a debris tank having a forward bulkhead defining a fluid chamber. The bulkhead includes a debris sieve configured to allow water in the debris tank to flow through to the fluid chamber while retaining particulates in the debris tank. The sewer cleaning system further includes an extraction pump in fluid communication with the fluid chamber and configured to extract the water in the fluid chamber. The extraction pump is in fluid communication with the water tank so as to send the extraction water from the fluid chamber to the water tank for re-use. A method for cleaning a sewer line is also disclosed.
