SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IDENTIFYING POINTS OF INTEREST IN PIPES OR DRAIN LINES
Systems and methods for identifying one or more points of interest in pipes or drain lines are described. Examples of points of interest include blockages caused by debris in the pipe or drain line. The systems are incorporated into drain cleaning machines. Also described are drain cleaning machines utilizing the systems.
Method and system for remotely monitoring wastewater in manhole of underground drainage network and alerting
The present disclosure relates to wastewater management that provides a method and a system for monitoring a sewer manhole from a remote location. The sewer monitoring system configured in a sewer manhole receives measured values from a level sensor and determines an accuracy error in the measured values for different conditions. The sewer monitoring system resolves the accuracy error in the measured values to obtain accurate measured values by either measuring a level of wastewater in the sewer manhole by setting a first range limit for the measured values dynamically based on an actual depth of the sewer manhole, or iteratively measuring the level of wastewater in the sewer manhole by setting unique a second range limit for the measured values dynamically. A risk associated with the sewer manhole based on the accurate measured values of the level sensor is determined, for monitoring the sewer manhole from a remote location.
Automated Plumbing System Sensor Warning System and Method
A standing water alert system comprises two conductive wires or a float extending into a drain and connected to an audible or visual alarm that is triggered when standing water is present. A drain alert system and method comprises a plurality of sensors, such as pressure or acoustic/vibration sensors, at various locations within a plumbing or fluid filtration system to measure pressure or an acoustic profile at that location and a control system to compare the measured parameters to a threshold value or range and/or to other measured parameters from nearby sensor locations. A signal is sent to a remote user or computer or an alarm is triggered when the comparison shows a potential blockage, a leak, or indicating that a filter needs to be replaced or cleaned. An approximate location of the blockage, leak, or fouled filter is determined by comparing measured parameters at nearby sensor locations.
SEWER ALARM APPARATUS HAVING A PROBE
According to some embodiments, sewer alarm devices and apparatus are provided for detecting the presence of liquid within a pipe. In some embodiments, the devices and apparatus include a housing including a top portion and a bottom portion, and a probe housing, extending from the bottom portion of the housing to a bottom surface area of the probe housing and sized to fit within an interior of a wye connector, the wye connector having an interior extending into an interior of the pipe. At least a first probe is disposed within the probe housing and exposed to an area between the bottom surface area of the probe housing and the interior of the pipe.
Water backup prevention system
A water backup prevention system is disclosed which has a valve and sensor assembly for being in a first position indicative of a normal condition and second position indicative of a water backup event, the valve and sensor assembly having a device for sensing when the valve and sensor assembly is in the second position and for generating a signal indicative of the water backup event, and a receiver device for receiving the signal indicative of the water backup event.
FLOOD PREVENTION SYSTEM
Provided herein are embodiments of a flood prevention system. The flood prevention system may include a water line, a sewer line, and at least one floating switch sensor. The water line and sewer line may be connected to a plumbing fixture. The floating switch sensor may be installed within the sewer line and be connected to a solenoid valve.
A WATER CONSUMER SYSTEM HAVING A WATER CONSUMER, AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A WATER CONSUMER SYSTEM
