FOUNDATION WATERPROOFING SYSTEM AND METHOD

Systems and methods for making a waterproofed concrete wall assembly, such as for a basement wall. A waterproof liner is present at the pouring of the concrete of the wall assembly, and has a fibrous layer into which concrete can infuse before hardening. The waterproof liner may include one or more boards including a polymer foam. The boards may line a form used to make the wall assembly, or may make up part of the form.

FOUNDATION WATERPROOFING AND INSULATION FORM SYSTEM AND METHOD

Systems and methods for making a waterproofed concrete wall assembly, such as for a basement wall. A form is constructed. At least a first side of the form is made of one or more boards having a polymer foam and a fibrous facer. At least some of the boards have perimeter edges shaped such that some adjacent boards overlap at the shaped perimeter edges. Concrete is poured into the gap between the sides of the form, and is allowed to harden. The other side of the form may be removed, while leaving the boards of the first side of the form in place adjacent the hardened concrete. Some of the concrete is infused into the fibrous facers of at least some of the boards.

FOUNDATION FORM, DRAINAGE AND VENTILATION SYSTEM THEREFOR AND METHOD OF FORMING
20190040625 · 2019-02-07 ·

A system for retaining a flowable and curable building material to form a portion of a foundation includes side walls disposed in a predetermined configuration having a first side wall and a second side wall, and at least one component having an interior cavity disposed in one of the side walls. A bracket assembly includes an outwardly bounding reinforcement post for each of the side walls, a separator bar having a plurality of apertures sized to receive and retain each of the reinforcement posts at locations corresponding to nominal widths of the at least one component. A barrier is disposed between the outwardly bounding posts. The barrier and the component in the side wall is retained in the foundation after the building material cures. The barrier prevents backfill from filling a volume between the outwardly bounding posts.

WALL LIFTING METHODS
20180363266 · 2018-12-20 ·

Methods of lifting structures such as a wall of a building. A fluid that is under pressure is injected beneath the base of the wall. The pressure of the injected fluid acts against the base of the wall to lift the wall vertically. In some embodiments, a supplemental lifting force mechanism can be attached to the wall to apply a supplemental lifting force to the wall that acts together with the lifting force applied by the injected fluid. The supplemental lifting force lightens the wall, reducing the amount of lifting force required to be applied to the wall by the injected fluid.

Clip System and Clips for Affixing Insulation

This disclosure relates to a clip system and clips for affixing insulation. Clips are taught which include a base, a spacer extending therefrom, and a head attached to the spacer opposite the base. The head of a T-clip has a laterally extending portion in a parallel relationship with the base. The head of an A-clip has a generally arrow head shaped cross section. At least one T-clip and at least one A-clip comprise the clip system. The clips are preferably used to affix insulation to the exterior of a wall using two-sided tape attached to the base rear of each clip.

Coupling an upper end of a hollow section column to a building unit support
10156079 · 2018-12-18 · ·

A fitting for coupling an open upper end of a hollow section column to a support via which a building unit is to be supported on the column. The fitting comprises a body portion configured to be received in the open upper end of the column and rim portions that extend laterally outwardly from an upper end of the body portion so as to engage edge sections of the column at its upper end when the body portion is received in the open upper end.

Modular building system
10156073 · 2018-12-18 ·

A prefabricated modular reinforced concrete building system includes panel assemblies for foundations, walls, decks, and roofs designed to be built out in a manufacturing facility, shipped to a job site, and filled with concrete. Panel assemblies incorporate a space frame to ensure structural integrity during shipping and during concrete fill. Space frames can include structural columns, rebar mats, spacers, straps, and skin panels. Panel assemblies may be manufactured to contain architectural interior/external finishes, windows/doors, and pre-installed utility distribution systems.

DISASTER-PROOF HOME
20180347176 · 2018-12-06 ·

The present invention relates to a disaster-proof home, which is used as a home for daily life, but when a disaster such as an earthquake, a tornado, a typhoon, a strong wind, a flood, or a fire occurs, the house is lowered below the ground or is lifted to be spaced apart from the ground, preventing a housing damage and personal injury caused by the disaster and personal injury, and is capable of daily living in a residential space formed in a house and when a sudden disaster occurs, the house is either lowered to an evacuation space formed in the protection wall or floated automatically by water depending on the disaster situation, without the risk of moving to an outside protective facility so that it is effective for the residents to be safe and to prevent property and personal injury caused by the disaster.

WINDOW WELL SYSTEM FOR POURED CONCRETE WALLS
20180347208 · 2018-12-06 · ·

A window well is snapped into place on the foundation adjacent a window opening. During the pouring of the foundation wall, a pair of spaced and generally parallel channels are embedded in the wall and directed outwardly on the outer face of the poured concrete wall. The channels are seated on the wall form panels used in constructing the foundation wall and after the concrete has been poured and cured, the wall form panels are removed and the channels remain embedded and exposed on the outer face of the concrete wall. The channels provide a slot into which one of the generally vertical terminal edges of the window well structure may be inserted for attachment to the wall. The window well includes a number of clips which secure the window well to the foundation wall once they are inserted into the channel.
