DOVETAIL DECKING SYSTEM WITH A FULL TOP FLANGE SIDELAP AND METHOD OF SECURING
Structural dovetail decking panel systems that utilize dovetail decking panels with a proximal edge having a proximal arm extending outwardly away from the dovetail decking panel, and a distal edge having a distal arm extending inwardly towards the dovetail decking panel. When adjacent dovetail decking panels are joined, the proximal edge having the proximal arm of a panel is placed over the distal end having the distal arm of the adjacent panel to create a dovetail sidelap. The proximal arm and/or the distal arm aid in restricting movement of the proximal edge and the distal edge of adjacent panels in order control the dimensions of a sidelap cavity and opening in the dovetail sidelap, which improves the strength of the dovetail decking panel systems, allows for the reduction of the thickness of the panels or number of couplings used, and/or allows for anchors to be utilized within the sidelap cavity.
DECK REPAIR BLOCK
Deck repair blocks, deck repair methods, and repaired decks are enabled. For example, a deck repair block can comprise: a saddle portion configured to receive a joist, a first recessed portion configured to receive a first deck board, and a second recessed portion configured to receive a second deck board.
Online Ordering Tool with 3D Preview
A computer system of a finishing center, such as a mobile finishing center, includes a tool that allows a customer to preview or create new designs for apparel before purchase and before laser finishing. Software and lasers are used in finishing apparel to produce a desired wear pattern or other design. Based on a laser input file with a pattern, a laser will burn or ablate the pattern onto apparel. With the tool, the customer will be able to preview, create, make changes, and view images of a design, in real time, before purchase and burning or ablation by a laser. Input to the tool can include fabric template images, laser input files, and damage input. In an implementation, the customer or another user can also move, rotate, scale, and warp the image input.
Speaker housing assembly
Disclosed are various embodiments of a speaker housing assembly for a deck drainage system. In one example, the speaker housing assembly includes a base enclosure, a mounting bracket, and a speaker cover. The base enclosure has a cylindrical shape with a first end and a second end. The first end has an opening to an interior of the base enclosure. The mounting bracket is configured to be attached to the interior of the base enclosure. The mounting bracket has a flange that is configured to be attached to a speaker. The flange has a first baffle and a second baffle along a perimeter of the flange. The speaker cover is configured to be attached to the first end of the base enclosure.
Convertible pool cover system and apparatus
Embodiments, apparatuses, and systems for improving the safety and reducing operating costs associated with owning and/or operating a pool. For example, the system may be configured as an above-surface grade deck or traversable and retractable cover for a pool basin or other yard obstruction. In some cases, the deck may include open positions to expose the pool basin and closed position to cover the pool basin.
Column Shoe Manufactured From One Piece of Sheet Metal
The present invention relates to a bent column shoe formed from one piece of sheet metal with a material thickness, the sheet metal having a first side and a second side, the bent column shoe comprising an anchor section with a longitudinal axis and a width axis, wherein the anchor section has a first end and a second end, —a supporting section with a first supporting end and a second supporting end, wherein the first supporting end is in extension of the second end of the anchor section, a support section with a support face, arranged substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the anchor section, and wherein the support section is arranged in extension of the supporting section, and at least one fastening face arranged substantially perpendicular to the support face, and wherein the anchor section, the supporting section, the support section and the at least one fastening face are manufactured from one and the same piece of sheet metal, characterised in that the anchor section, measured along the width axis, comprises at least three layers of the sheet metal arranged to provide at least three times the material thickness relative to the support section measured along the longitudinal axis.
DECK SYSTEM
A deck system is disclosed having a mounting plate with a planar support surface and at least one locating rod extending from the support surface. The locating rod extends in a direction that is substantially perpendicular to the support surface. A beam having a first end and a second end is positioned on the support surface of the mounting plate. The first and second ends of the beam have a slot and the slot is disposed for receiving the locating rod. At least one tread is disposed to extend between the two spaced apart parallel oriented beams. The tread has opposed shoulders on the side of the tread that engages the spaced apart beams. The opposed shoulders are disposed for engaging a side of the spaced apart beams that are in adjacent relationship.
HEAT-ASSISTED RECORDING HEAD HAVING SUBWAVELENGTH MIRROR FORMED OF FIRST AND SECOND MATERIALS
A recording head has a near-field transducer that extends a first distance away from a media-facing surface. Two subwavelength focusing mirrors are at an end of a waveguide proximate the media-facing surface and extend a second distance away from the media-facing surface that is less than the first distance. The subwavelength mirrors are on opposite crosstrack sides of the near-field transducer and separated from each other by a crosstrack gap. The subwavelength focusing mirrors each include a first material at the media-facing surface and a plasmonic material that covers an edge of the subwavelength focusing mirror that faces the near-field transducer. The first material is more mechanically robust than the plasmonic material.
DECK BOARD
This invention relates to a deck board and more particularly, to a reduced material deck board. In accordance with this invention there is provided a deck board comprising an operatively upper board section having at least one operatively downwardly depending support leg terminating in at least one flange, an underside of the flange having a concave surface.
Windows accessing more sky
A window with multiple elements which are suitable for installation in a building exterior wall as part of designing and/or retrofitting building facades is disclosed. The building structure comprises one or more movable members movably attached to a frame member where the frame member is secured in a wall opening. The building structure may further comprise a sash member attached to the one or more movable members. The connection of these members may be such that an enclosure is created when the building structure is in an extended or open position.
