Structural support member having a tapered interface
An interface for a structural column includes a female end section that includes at least one first sidewall that extends from a first end along a longitudinal direction and defines a first cavity. An interior surface of the at least one first sidewall tapers transversely outwardly along the female end section towards the first end. The interface also includes a male end section that includes at least one second sidewall that extends from a second end along the longitudinal direction and defines a second cavity. The at least one second sidewall is configured to be received within, and oriented in substantially face-to-face adjacent relationship with, the at least one first sidewall. Each of the female end section and the male end section is a respective unitary casting.
ANNULAR REINFORCING STRUCTURE
An annular reinforcing structure for the reinforcement of a supporting structure of a construction is provided. The annular reinforcing structure includes an outer frame body, an inner frame body and an elastic body. The inner frame body is connected to the outer frame body and positioned therein. The inner frame body and the outer frame body together define an annular space. The elastic body is accommodated in the annual space between the inner frame body and the outer frame body.

Method of connecting and installing a building member
Bracket apparatus for use in connecting an elongate first building member to at least one second building member, said bracket apparatus including a first member, a second member and a connecting portion joining said first member and said second member, a slot located in either or both said first and second members, wherein, in use, the bracket apparatus is affixed to said at least one second building member and then loosely connected to a first end of the first building member through said slot and thereafter the position of the first building member is adjusted relative to said at least one second building member until a desired position is reached whereupon said bracket apparatus is securely fastened to said first building member. Also disclosed is a method of connecting the elongate first building member to a pair of second building members separated by a distance, the method including the steps of fixing a first bracket to one of said second building members and fixing a second bracket to the other one of said second building members, loosely connecting a first end of said first building member to said first bracket using a slot in said first bracket, positioning and fitting a second end of the first building member to said second bracket using a slot in said second bracket, said slot in said second bracket orientated differently to the slot in said first bracket, adjusting the first building member relative to said pair of second building members to a desired position, and securing the first building member to each of said first and second brackets.
FLAT-MOUNTED CONNECTOR FOR PIPES
A flat-mounted connector that enables industry standard hooks on horizontal rods to rest at such a height as to provide uniform appearance to the top of drape walls. The flat-mounted connector provides a connection that affixes to a flat wall or surface and an affixed coupler for the drape rods to be affixed to a vertical surface. The connector has an upper region with a similar outside dimension as the body of the coupler. In an internal portion of the coupler, at least one hollow well opens vertically with at least one lateral notch or opening formed in upper region and designed to accept a terminal hook used on an end of a horizontally placed rod. An example connector includes two couplers affixed to the flat-mounted connection to accept additional terminal hooks.
MODULAR DYNAMIC BUILDING STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR CONFIGURING THE SAME
A modular dynamic building system includes a superstructure and a container. The superstructure includes: a plurality of columns; a plurality of beams connected to the columns to form an opening into the superstructure; and a plurality of tracks connected to the superstructure and in the opening. The container includes an opening in one side thereof and a plurality of wheels connected to a bottom surface of the container. The wheels of the container are on the tracks of the superstructure, and the opening in the container faces into the superstructure.

Assemblable structural column joint connection using fiber-reinforced concrete filled round double steel tubes and mounting method thereof
An assemblable structural column joint connection using fiber-reinforced concrete filled round double steel tubes, including an outer high-strength round steel tube, an inner high-strength round steel tube and a round separation plate. The wedge-shaped teeth are provided at two sides of the outer and inner high-strength steel tubes, and wedge-shaped teeth spaced are uniformly distributed along circumferences of the inner and outer high-strength round steel tubes. The round separation plate includes a round plate provided with a central through-hole, and vertical separation walls are provided with on upper and lower surfaces of the round plate. The vertical separation walls are provided with wedge-shaped sliding grooves matching the wedge-shaped teeth. The inner and outer high-strength round steel tubes are fixedly connected to the round separation plate by matching the wedge-shaped teeth with the wedge-shaped sliding grooves.
Structural footer
A post assembly includes an elongate first portion having a upper first end and an opposing lower second end. The first portion configured for supporting a structure. The post assembly also includes a second portion formed from a non-deteriorating material coupled to the second end of the first portion. A coupling device couples the first portion to the second portion.
METHOD AND STRUCTURE FOR INCREASING USABLE SPACE IN A PARKING LOT
A method of increasing usable space in a parking lot. A support assembly and an access system are erected. A module is placed on the support assembly in one piece or section-by-section. There is an accessible volume of space below the module that is sufficient to allow an automobile to park in a parking space below the module or to allow an automobile to drive in a drive aisle below the module. The module is removably connected to the support assembly. The module may include a frame and a covering coupled to the frame. The support assembly may include portions positioned between adjacent parking spaces of the parking lot. One portion of the support assembly may be positioned on one side of a drive aisle with another portion of the support assembly positioned on the opposite side of the drive aisle.
