Construction panel and construction panel assembly with improved structural integrity
11053675 · 2021-07-06 ·

A building construction panel and a building construction panel assembly are presented herein. The panel includes a foam insulation core with first and second oppositely disposed nonlinear longitudinal surfaces, each of the first and second nonlinear longitudinal surfaces include a plurality of pockets defined by a plurality of peaks and a plurality of troughs. A reinforcement mesh panel is disposed along at least a portion of each of the first and second longitudinal surfaces of the foam core. Reinforcing bars are positionable at least partially within the pockets of the surfaces of the foam core, and concrete is layered on top of the surfaces of the foam core and the mesh reinforcement panels to secure the reinforcing bars therein. In some embodiments, the reinforcing bars are positioned between the surface of the foam core and the mesh reinforcing panel.

STAY-IN-PLACE READY-TO-STUCCO FORMWORK SYSTEM

A stay-in-place concrete formwork system allows stucco to be applied directly to the formwork, avoiding the need to provide a further surface treatment of the wall prior to applying stucco. Apertures are provided on an exterior facing wall of the formwork panel to receive and embed stucco therein. The panel may also be formed with outward stucco-engaging projections. Other features include using rigid insulation to brace the stucco and keep concrete from the apertures, a sealing joint element, extendible panels for use in curved formwork, rainscreen features and an alligator connector panel for adjustable lengths of formwork faces.

Textile-reinforced concrete structure using textile grid fixing apparatus and construction method for the same

Provided are a textile-reinforced concrete structure using a textile grid fixing device and a construction method therefor. A textile grid is precisely disposed at a predetermined position between a mold and a main reinforcing bar using a textile grid fixing device so as to be prevented from being moved by a pouring pressure when concrete is poured, and thus a textile-reinforced concrete structure can be precisely constructed. The textile grid fixing device is fixed to one side of the mold, and the textile-reinforced concrete structure is constructed using the textile grid fixing device such that fine cracks are suppressed from being generated on a surface of concrete. Further, a surface of a concrete structure is protected from an external environment when the textile-reinforced concrete structure is constructed so that a covering thickness of concrete can be reduced, and thus, the textile-reinforced concrete structure can be economically constructed.

PANELIZED LATH AND DRAINAGE PLANE SYSTEM FOR BUILDING EXTERIORS
20200354965 · 2020-11-12 ·

A panelized lath and drainage plane panel and system is disclosed. A panel comprises a patterned polymer board providing a continuous drainage plane and a metallic lath affixed to the patterned polymer board, such that a first pair of adjacent edges include an exposed surface of the patterned polymer board. The panel may also include a second pair of adjacent edges, opposite the first pair of adjacent edges include an overhang of metallic lath. The system provides an open-air space between the exterior of the structure and the polymer board to allow the egress of liquid water and water vapor. A wall system using such panels is also disclosed. Typically, a manmade or natural stone veneer or a stucco is applied over the system.

EXTRUDABLE BUILDING MATERIAL WALL STRUCTURE AND METHOD

A wall structure and a method for forming a wall structure is provided using three-dimensional printing of extruded building material applied to a surface of a building structure. According to one embodiment, the wall structure includes a pair of outer wythes spaced from an inner wythe. The outer wythes can include a core extending between the pair of outer wythes and toward the inner wythe. A protrusion can also extend toward the inner wythe a spaced distance from the inner wythe or entirely toward and adjoining the inner wythe. The core is configured with an inwardly facing spaced opposed surfaces of the outer wythes surrounding a vertically extending rebar, with grout surrounding that rebar. Horizontally extending support pins can be spaced parallel from each other and extend from the protrusions and into the inner wythe.
