DISSIPATIVE BRACKET TO MITIGATE EFFECTS OF EXPLOSIONS ON BUILDING FACADES
20210222450 · 2021-07-22 ·

A glazed façade anchoring system to a building including a box with a connection system to the façade and connection to the building slab. The first and second connections enable relative movement between one another, when the façade moves within the gap between the rear surface of the façade and the building slab edge under the high pressure loads due to exceptional events such as explosions. The device includes one or more solid elements with dissipative components acting in compression in the inward building direction and one or more solid elements with dissipative components acting in compression in the outward building direction.

Connecting device

The present disclosure relates to a connecting device, which includes a clamping mechanism, a transverse arm mechanism, a main arm member and a connecting mechanism that are sequentially connected. The clamping mechanism includes a clamping block and a fixing member. The transverse arm mechanism includes a mounting base, a positioning member and a fastening member. The fixing member connects the clamping block and the mounting base. The positioning member is connected to one end of the mounting base away from the clamping mechanism. The fastening member connects the positioning member and the mounting base. The main arm member extends through the mounting base. The connecting mechanism is provided with a connecting rod connected to the main arm member.

Facade Panel Conditioning System
20210247077 · 2021-08-12 ·

A facade panel conditioning system for installation on a new or existing building is disclosed. The system includes modular panels, a structural anchor, hydronic piping, and ductwork. The panels attach to each other around the exterior of the building forming an insulated shell. The anchor attaches the panels to the building structure forming an air cavity between each individual panel and the exterior. The hydronic piping transfers heat to the air cavity and individual units of the building. The ductwork delivers ventilated air and exhaust air to the air cavity and individual units. The hydronic piping of a panel connects to the hydronic piping of an adjacent panel forming a hydronic piping system that distributes heat or cool throughout the shell. The air duct of a panel connects to the air duct of an adjacent panel forming an air duct ventilation system that distributes air throughout the shell.

Two-piece track system

A fire-rated receiver channel includes at least one intumescent or other fire-resistant material strip. The receiver channel can nest with a framing member, such as metal tracks, headers, header tracks, sill plates, bottom tracks, metal studs, wood studs or wall partitions, and placed at a perimeter of a wall assembly to create a fire block arrangement. In other arrangements, a track assembly includes two nested tracks, an inner track and outer track. The assembly is designed so that the outside width of the outer track is equal to or less than the outside width of the inner track to present a substantially flush external surface for attachment of exterior sheathing elements when the assembly is used in an external wall.
