11788289 · 2023-10-17 · ·

A reinforcing assembly includes one or more longitudinally-extending bars having a first end and a second end opposite the first end, multiple first working members, and multiple second working members. Each working member is independently connected to at least one of the one or more bars and extends away from the one or more bars. The first working members are oriented diagonally with respect to a longitudinal axis extending along the one or more bars and are connected along a first continuous portion of the one or more bars. The second working members are oriented diagonally with respect to the longitudinal axis and are connected along a second continuous portion of the one or more bars. The first working members extend from the one or more bars away from the second working members. The second working members extend from the one or more bars away from the first working members.

Short fiber-reinforced concrete structure using continuous fiber-reinforced polymer material

A concrete structure includes a continuous fiber-reinforced polymer material arranged as a main reinforcing material or a tendon. A short fiber reinforcing material consisting of an organic fiber is mixed in 0.5% or more with respect to an entire volume. The continuous fiber-reinforced polymer material is shaped like a rod or a stranded wire. A ratio Lf/Gm between a fiber length Lf of the organic fiber of the short fiber reinforcing material and a maximum aggregate diameter Gm of a concrete composition is 1.2 to 3.7, and an aspect ratio Lf/De, in which De is an equivalent diameter that is a cross-sectional area of the organic fiber converted into a circle diameter, is 30 to 69.

POST-TENSIONED CONCRETE SLAB WITH FIBRES

A concrete slab (20) comprises conventional concrete and a combined reinforcement of both post-tension steel strands (22, 26) and fibres (29). The post-tension steel strands (22, 26): —have a diameter ranging from 5 mm to 20 mm, —have a tensile strength higher than 1700 MPa. The fibres (29) are present in a dosage ranging from 10 kg/m.sup.3 to 40 kg/m.sup.3 in case of steel fibres are in a dosage ranging from 1.5 kg/m.sup.3 to 9 kg/m.sup.3 in case of macro-synthetic fibres.

A resilient platform assembly has a playing deck with horizontally disposed deck panels. Each deck panel has a pair of foot flanges on the bottom of the deck panels. Receiving shoes are attached to the deck panels and configured to receive the foot flanges of the deck panels. A transverse member, perpendicular to the horizontally disposed deck panels, includes a plurality of notches. Each notch is cut in the transverse member in a predetermined spacing pattern. The receiving shoes are installed in the notches and the deck panels are attached to the transverse member through the receiving shoes. Resilient mounts connect the transverse member to a support assembly and allow relative motion between the transverse member and the support assembly. The resilient mounts include a first spring capture assembly attached to the support assembly, a second spring capture assembly attached to the transverse members, and a plurality of springs disposed between the first spring capture assembly and the second spring capture assembly.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR UNDERFLOOR STORAGE AND RETRIEVAL

Systems and methods for under-floor storage include a robotic retrieval system. The robotic retrieval system includes a robot disposed under an upper floor. The robot may retrieve and deposit objects in a space under the upper floor. A portal provides access to the space from above the upper floor. Objects are stored in locations within the space. The robot selectively locates and retrieves the objects.

Precast modular structural building method
11306473 · 2022-04-19 ·

The present invention is a modular structural building method consisting of prefabricated, precast, composite reinforced concrete raised floor and steel beam panels with adjustable levelling connection assemblies between panels, supported by columns. The system has the ability to accommodate the use of the floor by construction personnel during the on-site assembly process. The perimeter of the raised floor slab can be provided with ducts for a field installed conventional reinforcement means to create a continuous structural diaphragm for the floor panel.
