Laminated structural arch system
10472824 · 2019-11-12 · ·

A laminated structural arch system for supporting a horizontal planar structure, comprising at least one laminated arch. Each laminated arch is comprised of a plurality of arch plates rigidly fastened together in parallel, and forming a laminated configuration. Each arch plate is separated from the arch plate adjacent to it by a separation gap. The laminated structural arch system may contain two or more laminated arches positioned in parallel and secured to an anchoring structure, allowing one or more panels which comprise the horizontal planar structure to be positioned across and supported by the laminated arches. The laminated structural arch system may be provided as a kit of disassembled arch plates, allowing the system to be easily transported, handled, and assembled.

Interactive floor and amusement systems and methods employing same

An amusement system features an interactive floor with an array of panels laid out in one or more grids to collectively define an interactive floor surface, an illumination system operable to individually illuminate each panel, and a sensing system operable to detect presence of any participant atop any panel. A base frame of the interactive floor is composed of a plurality of base modules seated on a subfloor, and supporting a respective panel for one or more cells of the interactive floor. The base modules are not directly fastened together, and instead are only intercoupled by perimeter seals applied over peripheral regions of the panels of neighbouring modules. Separation of the modules is constrained by surrounding walls of a room fully occupied by the interactive floor. In gameplay, some panels are distinctively illuminated as hazards to be avoided by participants, subject to penalty.

Glass decking mounting system
10294662 · 2019-05-21 ·

A glass decking assembly for securing a pair of adjacent glass panels, each having an outer edge and an inner edge, to a building structure, using a pair of outer framing members and an intermediate framing member that secures to the building structure with fasteners. A pair of outer setting blocks and an inner setting block covers the fasteners, attaches to the outer framing members and the inner framing member, and supports the adjacent glass panels with the outer edges supported by the outer setting blocks on the outer framing members and the inner edges supported by the intermediate setting block on the intermediate framing member. A lighting channel in the outer framing member facilitates edge lighting the glass panels.
