ROOFING PANELS WITH WATER SHEDDING FEATURES
Roofing panels with water shedding features may be installed on the roof of a house or other structure in lieu of or as an underlayment for traditional roofing materials. The water shedding features can be built into a base of the roofing panels, as part of a frame for the roofing panels, or formed as part of a waterproofing layer applied to the base of the roofing panels, or which can be configured as a roofing panel. The roofing panels also can be installed in overlapping courses along a roof with water shedding features applied thereto or incorporated along one or more peripheral edges. The water shedding features of adjacent roofing panels will collect and divert water away from the upper surfaces and/or away from headlap and/or sidelap joints defined between the roofing panels.
System for recording information associated with hail storm event and determining structure damage based on same
A hail strike recording device is operable to provide quantifiable information about a hail storm event experienced by a roof. The recording device is operable to be installed on a roof and includes a panel component and a mounting assembly. The panel component presents a hail impact zone to sense one or more hail strikes, with the recording device operable to provide recorded data associated with the sensed one or more hail strikes.

PRE-FABRICATING A METAL DORMER
Pre-fabrication of a metal dormer provides for a one-step and relatively easy installation by a home owner, a roofing contractor or a carpenter. By using an aluminum alloy and specific forming and welding adaptations, a relatively water-tight, light and low-cost dormer may be readily pre-fabricated.

Rooftop Heat Reflector System
A roof reflector system that is used to reflect solar radiation away from a rooftop. The system uses lines of flags that are strung across the rooftop in parallel rows. Each line of flags contains a plurality of flags that are aligned side-by-side. The flags are reflective to solar radiation. A common ribbon joins the flags into a line of flags. The base of each flag is coupled to the ribbon so that the flags hang away from the bottom edge of the ribbon. Brackets are provided that that can be selectively mounted to the roof. Each of the brackets has a connector that receives and retains the ribbon, therein supporting the ribbon at a first elevation above the roof. The length of each of the flags is greater than that first elevation. As a result, the flags touch the roof and fold along the roof, therein shielding the roof from the heat of the sun.
Modular enclosures and structures, and components thereof
Modular enclosures, structures, and components thereof are provided herein. A modular enclosure may include a plurality of enclosure panels and a dormer. A modular assembly may include first and second panels, an elongated structural reinforcing member, and a connector pin connecting the first and second panels. Another modular assembly may include a molded panel including an elongated channel, an elongated reinforcing member positioned in the channel, and at least one fastener configured to retain the elongated reinforcing member within the channel. The elongated reinforcing member may include pins to be retained within blind bores of the elongated channel.

TRANSPARENT FIRE-RETARDANT COMPOSITE MATERIAL
A transparent or translucent composite material, an architectural apparatus comprising the transparent or translucent composite material, and a method of manufacturing the composite material are described. The transparent or translucent composite material having a core film comprising PET, a first and second ETFE film on the outer portion, adhered via an adhesive layer configured to be fire-retardant and/or light-absorbent. The core film may have on one or both sides a solar control layer configured to block light, provide color, or other properties to the composite material.
