A system for passively exhausting air from a structure includes at least one pair of modules arranged on a roof of the structure. Each module has an exhaust face on one side and a sloped surface on the opposite side, and can receive exhaust air that flows upward from inside the structure. The modules can be arranged in pairs facing one another, with one of the sloped surfaces facing a direction of an environmental flow of air, so that the environmental air can flow up the sloped surface of one module and down the sloped surface of the other module without impinging on the exhaust faces of either module. The pairs can also be arranged side-by-side in an array, which can be expanded with additional pairs of modules to exhaust from the structure at a greater rate.

Visual features also can be imparted by mixing different colors of a liquid applied roofing material, embedding floating particles in a liquid applied roofing material, embedding colored flakes in a liquid applied roofing material or spraying colored flakes onto a liquid applied roof before skinning, creating texture as the liquid applied roofing material is applied, and using stencils or printing techniques to impart visual features.

The composite material may include two or more materials, wherein a first material provides desirable qualities for appearance and a second material provides desirable qualities for strength or other characteristics desirable of a building material. Each of the first material and the second material may be transparent, such that the composite material is also transparent. The first material may be Ethylene tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) and the second material may be Polyethylene terephthalate (PET).

A subterranean hotel is provided which includes, in one embodiment, a first row of subterranean atrium hotel rooms, a second row of subterranean atrium hotel rooms, a first row of patio hotel rooms, and a second row of patio hotel rooms. The atrium hotel rooms and the patio hotel rooms may be located at least in part below the ground surface (i.e., below a grade) on at least one subterranean floor level. The subterranean hotel may include an intermediate atrium that abuts with the atrium hotel rooms such that the first row of the atrium hotel rooms may be spaced from the second row of the atrium hotel rooms by the intermediate atrium.

A subterranean hotel is provided which includes, in one embodiment, a first row of subterranean atrium hotel rooms, a second row of subterranean atrium hotel rooms, a first row of patio hotel rooms, and a second row of patio hotel rooms. The atrium hotel rooms and the patio hotel rooms may be located at least in part below the ground surface (i.e., below a grade) on at least one subterranean floor level.
