The aqueous Alerce cell extracts promote cell regeneration, and therefore have anti-aging properties. The Alerce cell extracts have been found to have no toxic effects on human cells, and have been found to not boost skin cancer cells. Such extracts may be used in pharmaceutical or cosmetic formulations for skin care, especially to promote regeneration and/or anti-aging of the skin.
