Method for making a composite panel, preferably cementitious mortar based, with light translucency properties
The present invention relates to a method for making a composite panel comprising a pourable and settable base material, preferably cementitious mortar, and a plurality of through elements (10) made of glass for transmitting light between two base surfaces (1,1′) of the panel (1). The method includes making a semi-finished product comprising a central body (50) which incorporates the through elements (10), which emerge from two mutually opposite main surfaces (51,52). In particular, the method includes making the semi-finished product by defining two containing frames, mutually opposite with respect to the body, each of which emerges from one of the central surfaces. The method includes closing the semi-finished product between two containing elements so as to define two half-spaces, each of which at least partially delimited by said containing frames. The method then includes filling each half-space with cementitious mortar and removing the manufactured item which is made, after the mortar has set. Finally, the method includes finishing such a manufactured item by eliminating the containing frames from the semi-finished product, the body of which remains incorporated in the structure of the panel.
Lighted architectural block system
An architectural block may be arranged with a front face separated from a back face by a border configured with a beveled surface comprising an aperture extending into a space between the front face and the back face. The aperture and beveled surface can each be configured to secure a light strip around the border and a light source of the light strip in the aperture.
Translucent building element and method of manufacturing same
The present invention is related to translucent building elements, and more specifically to their manufacture. The present invention comprises a method for the manufacture of an insulating core element for a translucent building element, an insulating core element for a translucent building element, a method for the manufacture of a translucent building element, a translucent building element, a method for the manufacture of a translucent building wall, a translucent building wall, and a method for the manufacture of a multiple of stacked rows of elongated light-conducting elements for an insulating core element.
Modular wall system
A modular wall system includes a plurality of extruded wall panels each having opposing first and second surfaces and opposing first and second joiner side edges. Each joiner side edge has an edge surface adjacent the first surface, another edge surface adjacent the second surface and a tongue or groove disposed therebetween. The edge surfaces have an angle less than 90 degrees with respect to the first or second surface, respectively. The first joiner side edge is insertable into the second joiner side edge of another wall panel, with a flush fit, for interconnecting the wall panels. Each panel also has opposing top and bottom edges and a plurality of ribs connecting and perpendicular to the first surface and the second surface.

Daylighting device, molding die, and method of manufacturing daylighting film
A daylighting device according to an aspect of the invention includes at least a daylighting film that includes a base having optical transparency and daylighting portions having optical transparency and provided on one surface of the base. Each of the daylighting portions has a reflective surface by which light incident on the daylighting portion is reflected and the light reflected by the reflective surface and output from a second surface of the base has a characteristic that the light travels toward a space on a side where the light is incident on the reflective surface, the space being one of two spaces divided by a virtual plane as a boundary which is vertical to the second surface of the first substrate and parallel to a direction of the daylighting portion extending, and intervals s between adjacent daylighting portions are set to various values.
