Decorative building board and method for producing such a building board
The invention relates to a method for the automated decoration of a building board, comprising at least one smoothing compound layer and preferably at least one colour coat. The method comprises the steps of smoothing and decorating the building board, wherein the smoothing includes the steps of (i) calibrating the building board to a nominal thickness, so that a surface of the building board has a height difference of at most 1 mm, (ii) applying a layer of a smoothing compound, (iii) pressing the smoothing compound into the surface structures of the building board, and (iv) recalibrating to the nominal thickness. Preferably, a plurality of smoothing compound layers are pressed into a calibrated surface of the building board and partially ground away again. The method is particularly well suited for the production of fire-resisting building boards.
Small Mobile Space
A small mobile space includes a top plate, a bottom plate, and wall modules between the top plate and the bottom plate and is connected in sequence. The top plate, the bottom plate and the wall modules jointly define an accommodating space. A door assembly is arranged on at least one of the wall modules. A joint between every two adjacent wall modules, a joint between each wall module and the top plate, as well as a joint between the bottom plate and each of wall modules are clamped respectively by using a concave-convex structure. An air inlet module is arranged in the top plate and includes an air inlet channel, and a sound absorption component in the air inlet channel. An air inlet of the air inlet channel is communicated to the outside. An air outlet of the air inlet channel is communicated with the accommodating space.
DECORATIVE CONCRETE WITH UNIFORM SURFACE AND METHOD OF FORMING THE SAME
A decorative concrete with a very uniform finish surface and a method of fabricating the same is disclosed. A concrete mixture is poured over a subgrade which defines an exposed surface. The exposed surface is finished with any of several techniques, and the surface is then worked with an abrasive material, and additional techniques are used to color and seal the concrete.
Fiber reinforced surface covering
A fiber reinforced surface covering for application to a structure, comprising at least one structural body comprising a resilient construction material with a top side and a bottom side, a flexible base coupled to the bottom side of the structural body, a spaced gap disposed between the at least one structural body and an adjacent second body, and wherein the spaced gap has a portion of the base that is substantially overlaid with the resilient construction material and configured to receive a filler material.
Modular wall units having front panels with aesthetic designs covering a window for modular wall systems
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to modular wall systems, modular wall units, and methods of installing modular wall systems for indoor environments such as medical treatment environments. In one implementation, a first outer panel and a second outer panel are spaced apart from each other to form a window, and a front panel is attached to front surfaces of the first and second outer panels. The front panel is formed of a polymeric material or a composite material, and the front panel includes an aesthetic design thereon.
High solids coatings for building panels
Described herein is a coating composition suitable for application to a building panel. The coating composition comprises inorganic pigment, liquid carrier, and a humectant comprising a first ester-containing compound. The liquid carrier may be present in an amount ranging from about 10 wt. % to about 30 wt. % based on the total weight of the coating composition. Described herein are also building panels coated with the coating composition and methods of their production.
TILE EDGE SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Disclosed herein are tiles, systems, and methods related to manufacturing bullnose or other non-straight edge tiles. In a method of manufacturing a bullnose tile, the method comprises the steps of providing a tile, wherein said tile is a fired ceramic tile comprising a base and a decoration; cutting or milling the tile to form a bullnose edge; transporting the tile to at least a first printing station; printing at least one print layer of print media on the bullnose edge; transporting the tile to a curing station and curing the print media to provide the bullnose tile.
Method of formation for composite materials comprising cement and geopolymer containing layers, and products obtained from such methods
The present invention relates to methods for forming a layered composite material, the finished product comprising at least one geopolymeric layer and at least one cement-based layer. The method of the invention allows the provision of products with more varied appearances, shapes, colours, gloss, or surface structures such as decorations, reliefs, roughness, or the like. Products obtained according to the method of the invention also form part of the invention.
WOODEN DECORATIVE PANEL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME, INSERT MOLDING USING WOODEN DECORATIVE PANEL, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING INSERT MOLDING
A wooden decorative panel has rough texture and non-glossy look of veneer. A wooden decorative panel manufacturing method enables manufacture of the wooden decorative panel with a small material loss. The wooden decorative panel includes a veneer made from natural wood and having a plurality of surface irregularities due to vessels of the wood, and a transfer layer transferred from a transfer film and bonded to a surface of the veneer. The transfer layer has surface irregularities that are similar in shape to the plurality of surface irregularities. The wooden decorative panel has the feel and the appearance of natural veneer due to the irregularities formed by the vessels, and the durability sufficient for use as an industrial product.
