Reinforced concrete is protected from corrosion without conducting an operation involving exposure of rebar. A reinforced concrete structure is provided with a storage part that is formed inside concrete of the reinforced concrete structure, and that retains an anticorrosion solution. The anticorrosion solution diffuses and permeates through the concrete from the storage part, prevents the concrete in the vicinity of rebar from drying, and passivates the rebar.

The technology provides increased capability and control over the yield performance of the timber prop, a mine roof support. The new Wedge Prop design includes a cut pattern idealized for the specific wood species used in manufacturing and a set of confinement rings varying in strength due to different failure mechanisms. The cut pattern is based on the diameter of the yellow poplar pole, while the confinement rings consist of multiple types of welds to allow for either wire tensile failure or for weld detachment. The cut pattern can be combined in conjunction with various combinations of confinement rings to allow for precise control over the performance of the Wedge Prop in the Propsetter System.

The vertical joint is comprised of plurality of anchors and reinforcement bars as well as steel side plates allowing composite wall steel faceplates to be discontinuous across the vertical joint. The faceplates of the first and second modules are not made continuous across the vertical joint through continuous welding. The vertical wall joint further includes fill disposed between faceplates and side plates adjacent to anchors and reinforcement bars.

Reinforced concrete is easily repaired at a low cost. An anti-corrosion method for preventing corrosion of a reinforcing bar inside reinforced concrete includes: an impregnation step of impregnating with water a cracked portion having occurred in the reinforced concrete, and a drying step of removing the water from the cracked portion and forming an anti-corrosive coating on the surface of the reinforcing bar. The anti-corrosive coating is formed by the neutralization of an alkali component by the drying step, the alkali component having been leached from concrete in the cracked portion by the impregnation step.

The present invention discloses an integrated steel concrete building and its construction method. The building comprises a plurality of prefabricated room modules of steel, each including at least one column having a structure of hollow steel tube, which has an inner chamber inserted with penetrating rebars and poured with concrete. A thermal insulation structure comprises a thermal insulation unit provided between a floor slab and a balcony slab. Tension rebars are formed in parallel in the floor slab and the balcony slab, but are not in the thermal insulation unit. Connection tension rebars which are parallel with each other pass through the thermal insulation unit and connect the tension rebars in the floor slab and the balcony slab. Shear rebars are formed inside the thermal insulation unit to connect and support the connection tension rebars. Auxiliary shear rebars horizontally connect the shear rebars to reinforce support.
