ROOF ATTACHMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
20220112734 · 2022-04-14 ·

A roof attachment system and methods of using same during the installation, maintenance, or repair of a roof on a commercial or residential building structure. The roof attachment system and the related methods of using and implementing the system include, among other things, an anchor or internal support assembly, and a hook or securement assembly. The roof attachment system enables the installer to utilize at least one internal support assembly, or at least one internal support assembly and the securement assembly to install the roof, depending upon the installation stage of the roof. Upon completion of the installation process, the roof includes multiple concealed internal support assemblies that provide multiple anchor points that are spaced an appreciable distance apart along the ridgeline of the roof. When the roof requires maintenance or repair, the securement assembly can be removably coupled to a specific internal support assembly to facilitate the maintenance or repair by a technician while also reducing the chances that the technician experiences a fall from the roof.

Roof attachment pan for solar energy panels

A roof pan with raised ridges along lateral edges, where the raised ridges of one pan cooperate raised ridges of another pan to prevent water movement. A formed edge that is offset from the roof surface when the pan is installed on the roof allows a flashing to slide under the formed edge when the roof pan is installed on the roof surface.

INTERLOCKING LAMINATED STRUCTURAL ROOFING PANELS

Interlocking laminated structural roofing panels have a lightweight foamed core sandwiched between outer and inner layers of materials such as wood, polymer materials, fire resistant and/or waterproof membranes, and metal layers. At least one layer is a self-gripping metal sheet that grips and bonds mechanically to adjacent layers such as wood layers. A self-gripping metal sheet may be used on both sides of the roofing panels to form a panel that is strong, structurally robust, and able to span between relatively widely spaced roof rafters with little or no mid-span support. Interlocking features along the edges of the panels interlock adjacent panels together to form a strong monolithic roof covering for a roof.

Metal blocking with coping with cleat

A metal blocking with coping with cleat having a coping cap with a cap top flange, and first and second side flanges defining first and second channels respectively at respective ends; and a coping cleat having first and second top flanges, a corner anchoring flange, and an intermediate anchoring flange. The first channel is defined by a first exterior cleat strip, a first base cleat strip, and a first interior cleat strip. The second channel is defined by a second exterior cleat strip, a second base cleat strip, and a second interior cleat strip. The first side flange has a first predetermined height and the second side flange has a second predetermined height, wherein the first predetermined height is shorter than the second predetermined height.

Modular rooftop with variable slope panels

In a roofing structure, two roof panels with different slopes and lengths are positioned back-to-back, the vertical back walls of the panels having a uniform height. The seam between the two differently-sloped panels are connected by a ridge cap set at a uniform height. The ridge cap covers the seam, extending on both sides to a distance from the back walls of the roof panels sufficient to create a capillary break therefrom (preventing moisture migration) and then downwards and slightly towards the back walls of the roof panels, thereby using gravity to direct the water into the downward sloping roof panels.
