Fastening system and screen installation for a greenhouse, as well as method for attaching the same

A screen installation comprising a screen cloth assembly (22) with a screen cloth (7) and at least one flat strip (21) fastened to the screen cloth, as well as screen sections (8, 18), to opposite edges of the screen cloth, at least one screen section of which has an undercut chamber (20) and a longitudinal opening (23) that opens into this chamber, wherein the strip is accommodated in the chamber of the at least one screen section so that the screen cloth fastened to it can extend outwards from it through the longitudinal opening of the screen section. The strip (21) is fastened at a distance from the adjacent free edge of the screen cloth (7) in the form of a free screen cloth flap (19). The screen cloth flap extends from the strip and via the longitudinal opening (23) of the at least one screen section (8, 18) outwards from it.

Ridge vent protection system
10590655 · 2020-03-17 ·

A ridge vent protection system is made to affix to an existing roof with an existing ridge vent that has an upper surface that is spaced from the existing roof surface. The system attaches to the roof and surrounds the perimeter of the existing ridge vent. The system has elongate members that are attached to the roof adjacent the lateral edges of the existing ridge vent. End caps that affix to the roof that cover the terminal edges of the existing ridge vent. The system is made from perforated metal and has a lower planar portion, an offset portion, and an upper planar portion. The upper planar portion holds down the top surface of the existing ridge vent. An optional top cover is also formed from perforated metal and overlays the entire top surface of the existing ridge vent. It is retained by the elongate members and end caps.

Roof edge seal and barrier devices and their manufacture

The present invention is directed roof edge seal and barrier devices and their method of manufacture. A method of manufacturing a comb-like sealing strip for use as a roof edge seal or barrier comprises stamping or cutting an elongate strip of material along a sinuous path located between the edges of the strip and then separating the strip into two portions, each of which consists of a fixing edge corresponding to the edge of the original strip from which project a series of teeth or prongs forming a comb structure.

Drain and Vent Cover

The present invention relates to a cover assembly for a drain and vent pipe. The cover assembly comprises an attaching component, a slide latch, a screen wire, a gasket and multiple tooth configuration. The attaching component is positioned between the screen wire and the slide latch. The screen wire is detachable from the attaching component, thereby enabling easy cleaning and replacement of the screen wire. The slide latch includes the gasket made of silicone rubber, which is extruded into a mold into which the multiple tooth are placed. The multiple tooth grips to an outer surface of the drain or vent pipe, and prevents the cover assembly from sliding off during use. The slide latch is attached to the attaching component at one end and to an outer surface of the drain or vent pipe on the other end.
