A sunlight redirector has a first mirror array formed of a first plurality of substantially parallel, uniformly spaced, longitudinal outward mirror segments; and a second mirror array formed of a second plurality of substantially parallel, uniformly spaced, longitudinal inward mirror segments. Each mirror segment has a normal vector. The outward mirror segments are adjustably positionable, such that their normal vectors remain parallel. The first mirror array is rotatable about a normal vector of the sunlight redirector. The inward mirror segments may remain fixed in position at all times; or they may be moved, twice per day, between first and second fixed positions.

In a roof window system, the roof window (1) has a frame with a frame top member (21), and a sash with a sash top member (31), and further a ventilation device (40) for connection to a ventilation assembly by means of transition means provided between the ventilation assembly and the frame top member (21) and the sash top member (31) of the roof window (1) to accommodate a set of flow paths for air to and from the ventilation assembly. A daylight redirecting window film having a layered structure with a total thickness of less than one millimeter and having a first optically transmissive film, a second optically transmissive film approximately coextensive with the first optically transmissive film, an intermediate layer of a relatively soft optically transmissive material disposed between the first and second optically transmissive films, a parallel array of linear three-dimensional structures formed in a space between the first and second optically transmissive films, a layer of an optically transmissive adhesive coating a surface of the first optically transmissive film, and a two-dimensional pattern of light scattering surface microstructures formed in an outer surface of the second optically transmissive film. The parallel array of linear three-dimensional structures defines a parallel array of linear channels, and each of the linear three-dimensional structures has a total internal reflection wall extending transversely through a portion of the layered structure.

Agricultural structures for housing livestock and/or agricultural commodity, the structure having a floor that is inclined between first and second walls and a roof that is substantially parallel to the floor. In some aspects, the floor is configured such that a bottom of the first wall is vertically higher than a bottom of the second wall with the bottoms of the first and second walls being level with the underlying ground. In some aspects, a first portion of the floor adjacent to the first wall is at a first elevation, a second portion of the floor adjacent to the second wall is at a second elevation that is vertically lower than the first elevation, and a bottom of the first wall is at a third elevation that is equal to or lower than the first elevation.

A curb-mounted skylight designed for mounting on a framing protruding from the roof and forming part of its construction. The skylight has a glazing unit (1) and a support frame (2), where the distance (H2) from the skylight support surface to the outermost edge of the protective wall (22) of the section profile of the support frame (2) is not longer than the distance (H1) from the skylight support surface to the outside surface of the glazing unit (1). There is an adhesive sealing joint (5) between the glazing unit (1) and the protective wall (2).

A curb-mounted skylight designed for mounting on a framing protruding from the roof and forming part of its construction. The skylight has a glazing unit (1) and a support frame (2), where the distance (H2) from the skylight support surface to the outermost edge of the protective wall (22) of the section profile of the support frame (2) is not longer than the distance (H1) from the skylight support surface to the outside surface of the glazing unit (1). There is an adhesive sealing joint (5) between the glazing unit (1) and the protective wall (2).

A smoke vent including a curb and door assembly utilizing a continuous hinge assembly that extends an entire length of a door. Hinge members of the door assembly and curb define continuous, extruded hinge members such that the door is supported across the entire length of the hinge members, whereby localized deflection of the curb is avoided. By supporting the door across the entire length of the hinge member, a door seal can be evenly compressed against the curb so as to prevent moisture/water intrusion when the door is in a closed disposition. The door assembly can further include a dome member that substantially defines an upper and lower surface of the door(s). Each door can comprise a plurality of retainer clips that positively couple the dome member to extruded members that define a door frame while providing a moisture resistant seal between the dome member and the door frame.

A skylight shade device includes a skylight having a skylight dome and a shade element. A surface area of the shade element is smaller than the surface area of the skylight dome and positioned generally centrally within the surface area of the skylight dome to occlude at least a portion of high angle sunlight through the skylight dome without occluding low angle sunlight through the skylight dome.
