PREOPERATIVE COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF PREPARATION THEREOF
Disclosed are preoperative compositions and methods of preparation thereof. The preoperative compositions may be for minimizing thirst, vomiting, insulin resistance, and the like prior to surgery. Such preoperative compositions may also reduce postoperative complications and the need for pain relievers, as well as minimize blood transfusion needed during and after surgery when administered the night before the operation and/or an hour before the operation. The preoperative compositions may include soymilk, isolate milk protein, isolate pea proteins, probiotics, whole milk powder, and micronutrients for example.

FOOD ADDITIVE INCLUDING MANNAN OLIGOSACCHARIDES TO ENHANCE ANIMAL PERFORMANCE AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
Provided here is a feed supplement composition for animal food products comprising a fish-derived hydrolysate peptide (FHP) and a mannan oligosaccharide (MOS) are provided herein. The combination was found to result in unexpected increases in feed intake, feed conversion and body weight gain when used in an animal feed. Also provided are methods of using an animal feed comprising FHP and MOS to improve poultry agriculture performance.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A MAMMALIAN BRAIN PROTEIN HYDROLYSATE
A method for producing a mammalian brain protein hydrolysate composition, by providing a mammalian brain protein hydrolysate, adding Zn ions to the mammalian brain protein hydrolysate to form a complex with the Zn ions and the mammalian brain protein hydrolysate, and obtaining the complex with the Zn ions and the mammalian brain protein hydrolysate in a mammalian brain protein hydrolysate composition. A composition with a mammalian brain protein hydrolysate. A nutritional supplement with a mammalian brain protein hydrolysate. A pharmaceutical composition with a mammalian brain protein hydrolysate.
METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR WEIGHT CONTROL
Methods and compositions for providing control over a subject's body, include methods and compositions for enhancing the ability of a subject's body to lose weight, or for inducing weight loss in the subject's body. Such methods and compositions may induce thermogenesis in the adipocytes of a subject's body, enhancing the subject's metabolism, inhibit adipogenesis in adipocytes of the individual, and reduce the subject's cravings for food, the subject's appetite and/or the amount of food consumed by the subject. Such a composition may include African mango (Irvinia gabonensis) seed extract, citrus fruits extract from Citrus aurantium, Citrus sinensis, and/or Citrus paradisi (standardized to 5% synephrine and 80% bioflavonoids), Coleus forskholi root extract, and a source of dihydrocapsiate. The composition may be administered with a protein supplement, such as a whey protein supplement (e.g., a hydrolyzed whey protein supplement).
Hyaluronic acid production promoting agent
An agent of the present invention comprising poultry feet or a processed product thereof, preferably a hydrolysate of an extract of poultry feet, promotes hyaluronic acid production, thereby exhibiting excellent effects of preventing or treating a joint disorder, improving skin dryness, wrinkles or skin tension, moisturizing the skin, etc. The agent is thus useful as a medicament, a quasi-drug, a cosmetic product, a food product or an animal feed.
ANTI-DIABETIC STEROIDAL LACTONES OF WITHANIA COAGULANS FOR TREATMENT OF TYPE 2 DIABETES
Embodiments of the present disclosure include compositions and methods for treating type 2 diabetes using anti-diabetic steroidal lactones of Withania Coagulans, such as Coagulansin A and derivatives and analogues thereof are described. For example, a method of treating type 2 diabetes in a subject in need thereof, the method comprising administering a therapeutically effective amount of Coagulansin A or a derivative or analogue thereof to the subject is provided. Further described embodiments include compositions and methods of treating muscle atrophy in a subject with type 2 diabetes by initiating regeneration of diseased skeletal muscle myoblasts using anti-diabetic steroidal lactones of Withania Coagulans.
Method for alleviating arthritis with postbiotic extract
A method for alleviating arthritis includes administering to a subject in need thereof a postbiotic extract. The postbiotic extract is prepared by a process including the steps of providing a first material having a first isoelectric point ranging from pH 1 to pH 6 and a second material having a second isoelectric point ranging from pH 4 to pH 8, admixing the first material and a probiotic microorganism with water having a pH greater than the second isoelectric point, so as to forma mixture, adding the second material into the mixture and then adjusting a pH of the second material-added mixture to between the first and second isoelectric points so that a precipitate is formed, and subjecting the precipitate to a cell wall isolation treatment to obtain the postbiotic extract.
