Flashing Clips
A flashing clip that provides for securing placement of a flashing material is provided. The flashing clip includes a pair of symmetrical base plates collectively forming a width adjustable base plate having an outer and inner edge opposing each other, a first and second end opposing each other, foldable edge clips along each outer edge, foldable end clips along each first end, a tab extended from each outer edge adjacent the second end, and an aperture opposite each tab, and extending from each second end toward each inner edge, and the inner edges aligned adjacent each other to collectively provide adjustable spacing to partially enclose an object extending from a roof when the base plate is placed thereon, wherein the flashing clip is adjustably attachable via fasteners so that the flashing clip provides for securing placement of a flashing material around an object extended from the roof.
Conduit Mount Assembly
An assembly for fastening a conduit to a flashing structure that is typically secured to a shingled roof. The apparatus includes an adjustable clamp that can be secured to a cap on the flashing. A conduit is laid on top of the cap and the adjustable clamp is positioned on top of the conduit and is snapped in place along the perimeter of the cap. An adjustable bolt is threaded through the top of the clamp with a curved saddle that resides beneath the clamp and conforms to the shape of the conduit's outer surface. The bolt can then be adjusted to tighten the conduit to the cap. An exemplary use of the clamp involves securing conduit for running electrical wiring throughout a solar panel array.
Roof system with energy efficient features
A roof system that includes a roof covering in the form of planting areas, a water storage, a wind turbine, a water turbine, a solar panel, and a water heater. The roof system includes a plurality of ceramic chambers each including a wind turbine and a recess for housing a planter area.

SOLAR CELL MODULE AND SOLAR CELL ARRAY
A solar cell module includes a solar panel and a protecting portion. The solar panel has first and second surfaces each having a rectangular shape. The protecting portion holds the solar panel along each of a first side and a second side of the solar panel that are opposed to each other, and exposes a third side of the solar panel except at end portions of the third side. The protecting portion includes first and second protecting members. The first protecting member sandwiches the first side from both the first and second surface sides to protect the first side. The second protecting member sandwiches the second side from both the first and second surface sides to protect the second side. The first and second sides each includes a portion located on an outer side of the solar panel than the third side in a first direction along the first side.
Ice and snow retention system
A retention system may comprise a bracket, a bar system, a seal and a bonded washer. The bracket may have a first portion and a second portion. The first portion and the second portion may be operatively coupled together at an angle θ. The bracket may also have a texture. The bracket may define a mounting surface. The bar system may comprise a bar installable in the bracket. The seal may be installable in the bracket and disposed beneath the mounting surface. The bonded washer may be installable on and compressible against the mounting surface.
DRAIN RETROFIT AND METHOD
A drain insert assembly is provided for retrofitting or for use with an existing drain bowl received in a roof surface that interconnects with a drain pipe. The drain insert assembly includes a drain insert configured to extend between the roof and the existing drain pipe. The drain insert includes a first, end portion dimensioned for receipt in the existing drain pipe, and a second portion dimensioned to cover an inner surface of the existing drain bowl, and at least one flange extending outwardly from the end portion. An uncured seal material is interposed between the end portion and the existing drain pipe.
CANOPY GUTTER SYSTEM
A canopy gutter system includes a rainwater collection slot disposed on the top side of a canopy for collecting rainwater from the top side of the canopy, thereby preventing the rainwater from cascading over the sides of the canopy. The canopy gutter system further includes a rainwater gutter disposed underneath the rainwater collection slot for receiving the collected rainwater and channeling the collected rainwater away from a side of the canopy, toward a corner of the canopy. The canopy gutter system further includes a spout for transporting the channeled water from the rainwater gutter downward toward the ground along a leg of the canopy.
Hybridized canopy
An example canopy includes a plurality of panels arranged in a plurality of rows and a plurality of sequences, including a first sequence, second sequence, and a third sequence. The second sequence is disposed between the first and third sequences and forms a rainwater collection channel. The panels of the second sequence are angled with respect to the panels of the first and third sequences to optimize solar radiation and rainwater collection efficiency. Photovoltaic cells are provided on a flexible top surface of some or all of the panels. A hybrid canopy, a method of making a hybrid canopy, and a method of using and learning from a hybrid canopy, are shown and described.
