HEATER SLAT, SLAT ROOF COMPRISING THE SAME AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

Heating louvre (11) for a louvred roof comprising at least two girders which extend parallel to each other and to which several louvres are rotatably connected between an open position and a closed position. The heating louvre (11) is provided with an underside (13). A slot is provided in the underside (13) for fitting a heating element (12) inside the heating louvre (11). After the heating element (11) has been fitted, the cavity (15) is at least partially sealed by it and the heating element (11) is provided to heat a position between the louvred roof and the ground surface by means of radiant heat. By using a slot in combination with a heating element (12) based on radiant heat, it is possible to heat the position between the louvred roof and the ground surface, as the heating element (12) is not fully surrounded by the heating louvre (11).

Multi-layered ventilation apparatus and methods of manufacturing thereof

Disclosed is an apparatus for venting buildings, specifically attic spaces, such vents being predominantly shape-conform to the components from which a wall or a roof is built (typically tiles, in the context of roofs), the vent typically being fabricated from a metallic, plastic, or ceramic core as well as one or more layers from other materials or compounds which modify the overall characteristics of the vent, such as the surface characteristics. Furthermore disclosed are methods of manufacturing such ventilation apparatuses.

BUILDING RIDGE VENT SYSTEM
20230130279 · 2023-04-27 ·

A ridge vent system is provided including a ridge vent having opposing exterior sidewalls that each define multiple fastener recesses that extend inward from the exterior sidewalls and downward from a top plate. The ridge vent can include ventilation elements within the exterior sidewalls and/or fastener recesses. The ridge vent can include an air permeable filter membrane that can be secured to bottom walls of the fastener recesses to impair environmental elements from entering a structure therethrough, yet still provide air flow out the vent. The ridge vent can be in sheet or roll form, depending on the application. The ridge vent can provide enhanced attic ventilation and/or airflow through the ridge vent, while still providing fastener recesses that facilitate rapid and efficient application of fasteners therethrough.

Greenhouse

Greenhouse comprised of a ridge beam extending some distance above its roof defining two elongated side zones at either side of the ridge beam. The ridge beam is comprised of one or more elongated hollow spaces and with one or more closable openings in both side zones. The openings fluidly connect the exterior of the greenhouse with its interior and may be closed at one side and opened at its other side depending on the direction of the wind.

Perforated eave trim and roof ventilation system
11473310 · 2022-10-18 ·

A perforated eave trim and system for roofs is described. New shingles are typically installed on wooden strapping attached to an old or existing roof. The cavity between the old roof and the shingles is prone to build up of moisture if the cavity is inadequately ventilated. Moisture build up can lead to mold, ice buildup and damage to the roof and strapping. The perforated eave trim, and embodiments thereof disclosed herein, in conjunction with conventional roof vents provides an improved system for venting roofs.

HIP VENT

A vent is disclosed that is particularly suited to use in ventilating attic spaces beneath a hip roof. The vent is configured to be installed along a hip of the roof overlying and covering a ventilation slot formed through the roof deck along the hip. The vent includes an elongated laterally flexible top panel from which baffle arrays depend. The baffle arrays are formed of a plurality of depending arcuately curved vanes that arc away from the vent. The vanes are aerodynamically shaped to redirect wind-blown rain and snow away from the vent and are configured to block the migration of rain and snow through the vent. A pair of spongy conformable filler strips is attached beneath the edge portions of the vent. The filler strips conform to the shapes of underlying shingles when the vent is installed to fill any gaps that otherwise might be formed between the vent and the shingles. A weather filter drapes over some of the baffle arrays to allow attic air to pass but prevent ingress of blown snowflakes and raindrops.

PROTECTIVE BARRIER FOR INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT
20220323800 · 2022-10-13 ·

Protective barrier for an item of industrial equipment that is traversed by and/or processes a combustible fluid or oxygen, having four vertical walls forming four sides of a parallelepiped, these walls being attached to a base so as to define a rectangular-section space that is intended to contain the industrial equipment arranged on the base, the four vertical walls having a height of at least 2.4 m and having at least one partial roof attached to at least one of the vertical walls, having a surface parallel to the base and extending over the space, the surface area of the partial roof or the surface area of each of the partial roofs being equal to at most 50% of the surface area corresponding to the rectangular section.

Contoured mesh ridge vents

Ridge vents and deck covers are disclosed that have a fibrous mesh mat and a moisture barrier. The mesh mat may be contoured to define a variety of structures and may have regions of relatively higher fiber density and regions of relatively lower fiber density. Solar cells may be exposed on the ridge vents to collect solar energy when the vents are exposed to sunlight.
