ROOFING ALIGNMENT ASSEMBLY
A roofing alignment assembly includes a building has a roof. The roof has a top surface, an eave edge, a first gable edge and a second gable edge. A pair of jigs is provided and each of the jigs is removably coupled to the top surface of the roof. Each of the jigs is aligned with a respective one of the first and second gable edges. Moreover, each of the jigs has a front side and the front side on each of the jigs is spaced a measured distance from the eave edge when the jigs are positioned on the roof. A string is stretched between the front side of each of the jigs when the jigs are positioned on the roof. Thus, the string is oriented collinear with the eave edge of the roof and the string is spaced the measured distance from the roof. In this way the string defines a straight edge for aligning roofing material that is being installed on the roof.
Shingle testing tool and methods of making and using the same
A shingle testing tool includes a base member and an inclined shingle support plate. The inclined shingle support plate intersects a first end of the base member at a leading convex edge. The inclined shingle support plate defines one or more shingle structural reliability measurement graduations. The shingle testing tool can be used to determine if a damaged shingle can be replaced without damage to another shingle overlapping the damage shingle.

Apparatus, system and method for the delivery of items onto surfaces including elevated surfaces
The present disclosure is directed to an apparatus, system and method for the delivery of one or more items onto one or more target surfaces including elevated surfaces and inclined surfaces. An apparatus of this disclosure is operationally configured to be moved in space via lifting equipment while carrying one or more items. An apparatus of this disclosure is also operationally configured to direct one or more items onto one or more target surfaces without manual assistance for removing the one or more items off from the apparatus onto one or more target surfaces. Removal of one or more items off from the apparatus may be performed in a controlled and/or programmed manner. The present disclosure includes maintaining one or more items on or more target surfaces once the one or more items are removed from the apparatus.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR EXPANDING A METAL ELEMENT
A method of expanding an elongated and at least regionally planar metal element that has two respective marginal regions oppositely disposed and extending in a longitudinal direction and a central region arranged therebetween and including cuts, the marginal regions of the metal element are moved apart transversely to the longitudinal direction and in parallel with a planar extent of the metal element such that connection portions of the central region formed by the cuts and connecting the two respective marginal regions to one another are folded, the method includes displacing the two respective marginal regions with respect to one another transversely to the planar extent of the metal element to form a displaced state, and subsequently moving apart the two respective marginal regions in the displaced state.
SHINGLE CUTTING MACHINE
A shingle cutting machine including a frame having an upper frame assembly and a lower frame assembly. The upper frame assembly is pivotable relative to the lower frame assembly between a shingle loading position and a shingle cutting position. The shingle cutting machine further includes a receiving area defined in the lower frame assembly for receiving a shingle therein. An upper blade assembly is provided on the upper frame assembly and a lower blade assembly is provided on the lower frame assembly. The upper and lower blade assemblies are operable in the receiving area to cut a shingle in the receiving area. A collection area defined vertically below the receiving area does not extend outwardly beyond a perimeter of the lower frame assembly. Shingle tabs cut from the shingle drop directly from the receiving area and into the collection area.
